“Awesome service and guided ride”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

Being on holiday for 2 weeks meant being out of the saddle for far too long. Figured let's hire a bike and go for the guided tour.

From the offset, the service provided was second to none. Extremely helpful in the shop, making sure my needs were met. They happily changed the pedals over so I could ride with my own.

I rode the Ghost AMX full susser which was set up really well and operated flawlessly. Clearly they look after their bikes well.

The gentlemen who took me out for our 4 hour tour was extremely friendly and it was a pleasure to ride with him.

Thanks guys for enabling me to have a little two wheeled relief.

“Great quality bikes, reasonable price and helpful service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013 via mobile

We hired two mountain bikes from Easy Riders in May 2013. The bikes were excellent quality (Specialized) and clearly well maintained. We appreciated locks and a basic repair kit (which we did not need to use) being provided free of charge too.

Price was very reasonable - €10 for one day, with the cost per day decreasing if you hire for longer. The road bikes also looked to be excellent quality, and I believe started at €18 per day (probably advisable to take your own pedals and shoes if hiring a road bike.)

One point to be aware of is that a credit or debit card is required for a deposit even if you are paying cash. Not a problem at all as they just swipe the card and keep details until you return the bike(s) but worth being aware that you'll need to take a card along when you go to hire a bike.

We didn't ride all that far, but the roads surrounding Corralejo are good for cycling, traffic is quite busy but drivers seem generally considerate. Maps can be purchased for €3, though if you're only planning a short ride you may not need one as it's fairly easy to find your way around.

Overall would highly recommend Easy Riders for good quality bike hire at a fair price.

Our service and quality bikes are always a priority, we try our best to provide helpfull information to our clients be it for a nice easy ride around the town of Corralejo or a 5 hour technical Road/Mountain bike ride.

We always ask our clients for some sort of deposit, the most common of which is to use a bank card of some sort (Visa, Master, Maestro, etc). With the clients card we make a 'Pre-Autherization' which is a simple procedure and no money is taken from the clients account. When the bike is returned and checked this process is cancelled.

Also we accept cash deposit if a client does not have bank card.

Road bikes start from 16€ a day and we do prefer the customer brings their own pedals and shoes for this type of bike. We do have Cycle Shoes of all sizes available in the bike center.

“Excellent place to rent a quality bike”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

I have rented bikes from Easy Riders on two occasions and intend to do so again. the island is a reasonable size, the roads are not very busy, the local traffic is very polite and just the right amount of hills for me (live in Cambridge) in a fascinating volcanic, arid landscape. The rental was arranged via email on both occasions and I got exactly what I wanted, a quality road bike that has been properly maintained. In terms of the cost, it seemed reasonable value and much less than I would spend getting my bike there. The customer service is not fawning, thank goodness, it is refreshingly direct, informative and helpful. They care about their customers and know what they are doing, so listen would be my advice. Thank you Easy Riders for helping me have two super, and hopefully more, holidays in Fuerteventura.

Fuerteventura is indeed a great place to ride, be it on a race bike for some personal trainingor a bit of offroad fun with a mountain bike or just simply a ride arround the town of Corralejo with the family.

We always try our our best to satisfy all of our customers with all types of cycling abilities. We also enjoy and receive many returning customers each year.

“Good day exploring!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

Hubby and I hired 2 bikes from Easy Riders shop at the Atlantis Hotel (actually beside the Supermarket and quite hidden away). For 10 euros a day I think it was good value for a days 'entertainment', we enjoyed the freedom of being able to explore and as Corralejo is relatively flat it's not too tiring. If you collect the bike at say 12.30 it does not have to be returned until that time the next day. Locks are provided so you can park up and go for a drink or walk.

Only criticism I would have is you have to find the hire shop by the hotel as they don't hire them out from the Easy Rider shop in the main street (we tried!) the hire shop is shut for siesta in the afternoon and the sign on the road leading to the shop says 600 metres and should really say 1,600!!!! :- )

“Fantastic guide Miguel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

We (2 adults and 2 kids) hired moumtain bikes for 2 days. First day was spent with guide Miguel. He was fantastic and looked after us all really well including arranging replacement bike at one stage. Great local knowledge of trails. Totally flexible helpful approach even coping with slightly stroppy 9 yr old. Bikes were pretty good (Specialised). One new xl bike was built especially for us and child bike was modified to fit. Second day hire went v smoothly. Didi in the shop was very helpful. Thanks guys! Louise and Mark B
