We were delighted to find a restaurant with a sensible sized menu & a friendly owner who clearly seemed interested in giving a good personal service & offering up good food.
The owner is English but seemed to know the island very well & gave us plenty of great holiday do's & dont's ... He was the most helpful guide we met during our stay... Really good knowledge of all the local places to go & see...
The food was a really welcome experience having eaten at some of the 'establishments' on the main drag the previous few days... We craved some good quality, healthy & wholesome food & we were very satisfied.
The meat was excellent, vegetables fresh & cooked nicely. Everything presented well & very delicious indeed. It's a small place so the owner was able to ensure every guest was very well looked after... Lovely atmosphere & very professional table service...
If you are into good food & want that traditional dining experience where you are treated well then do give this place a try.. It is a real restaurant, not a tourist cash machine.
The house red wine was excellent too, clearly chosen to go perfectly with the menu. I don't usually touch red wine but after sipping my girlfriends glass I ordered my own. It went nicely with the steak I had ordered. The wine was also very fairly priced so if you like to down a few with your dinner you won't suffer too much in the wallet dept.
