We went here as recommended on trip advisor and was not disappointed. The best Sunday lunch by far. A must visit. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices

“Lovely food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

Always stop in here for a meal and never disappointed.
The food is excellent as is the service.
Careful if you order the beer battered cod. It closely resembles beer battered whale!
Fajitas are fabulous.
Definitely worth a visit if you have never been before.

“Where have you been all my life (visits)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

Can't believe have never been here before, probably because off the main street in more spanish quarter. What a find (near kids park, H20 and Dr Fish). Excellent service and even more excellent food. If not booked expect to wait for table. Could fit more in if had 'couple tables' but not being squished in was a bonus.Could not fault ribs, 'best coleslaw ever', huge fish and chips, beautiful fajitas and mouthwatering lamb. Would be very surprised is you found a fault. Dont expect cheap, as it's not, but not overly expensice either ($10.90 for Fish and chips) Highly recommend.

“Found it thank you Lord.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

We visited this restaurant 3 years ago when we was here last.
Went to the original location of this restaurant only to find it had been turned into some retro surf pizza club!
Anyway walked down to the Blue Rock bar and asked the owner what had happened to the Temple Bar. She explained that it had only moved to a different location round the corner, so we drunk up an went to it.
Slightly different in location but apparently the owner moved because of the old place was on 2 floors.
Anyway we chose a table by the window but must of admit we were the first ones there.
I had sticky chicken skewer and my wife had the ribs to start with. Total food heaven for both of us.
We both chose the fillet steak with just enough veg for the meal served up.
Had a beautiful bottle of red wine as recommended by the waitress, and what a choice.
It went down just sublime with the best cooked steak you will have for a long time.
Could not have a pudding as were both stuffed.
I would just like to say that we were glad this place was still open OK only in another location but so glad we visited.
We booked for a second night a couple of days later and so glad we did. I wont bore you with the details but this meal got better and better even tough they run out of gas and would not take anymore orders.
Dont take my word for it but if you want a high profile meal but for a very decent price then go for it.
We are coming back in September and will be certainly coming here for a couple of times in the weeks holiday.
Well done keep up the good work.
