The place was great! The friends I met at the camp were great! Dani, Greg and David are simply the best! I really had an incredible time at Billabong Surf Camp & School.

I would highly recommend the place to anyone, from beginner to experienced surfers.

I will be back real soon!

I've stayed at this surf camp for a week in December, in one of the shared rooms - I also took the lessons. Absolutely loved the experience! The owners, David and Dani, are extremely friendly and welcoming - and very knowledgable as well. The best thing about this place is atmosphere and people that you meet - they are from all over the Europe, and everyone shares the same passion, and everyone is very friendly as well. We went out together as a group every evening, and had some good fun!
From the surfing point of view, the place is great as well - they drive you to the best spot for the day - I really love the Boneyard on the north coast. Gregor, who is an instructor there, explains a lot about different spots and somehow managed to watch everyone in the water at the same time, always highlighting areas for improvement.

Overall, highly recommended, especially for solo travelers as you quickly make lots of new friends!

P.S. And its really right on the beach - doesn't seem like a big deal, until you relaxing after surfing in hammock with a seaview :)

Room Tip: As mentioned before, the room in front has MUCH better shower and also seems a bit brighter and more...

I just came back from a wonderful stay at Billabong Surf Camp, the location is magnificent and David and the rest of the staff are wonderfull and so helpful. If you need to rent surf equipment they have excellent boards to rent, I didnt want to pay 100 pounds to ryanair to carry my board and David let me choose the board, some of them were pretty new and really high quality. Unfortunately I damaged the nose of the board that was new, but David was really understanding and directed me to a person to get it fixed and for 15 euros he fixed it. I highly recommend this place, you have a few options of accomodation, room only sharing ,girls room and boys room, appartment and suite. You can go as a surf camp or accomodation only.
You can use all the amenities, Kayak, SUP and there is a barbeque and hamaks.

I recently spent 13 days at the Billabong Surf Camp and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I really didn't want to leave at the end and will be going back at the first opportunity. The staff really make an effort to make you feel at home, David really went out his way to be helpful, with no request being to much, and the surf tuition from Gregor and Danny was top quality. The location itself perfect, right on the beach and only a couple of minutes walk from the main street in Corralejo. The surf camp is a great place to relax after the days surfing and in two weeks I met loads of great people to eat, drink and laugh with every day.

The equipment was all supplied and transport provided to the different surf spots that offered the best waves for that days class. Gregor took all of the sessions with Danny helping out on some days. I really learned a lot over the 10 sessions I had with Gregor and have gained a lot of confidence in both my surfing ability and overall knowledge of the sea and surf. For a novice or beginner surfer, like I was, this is a great place to really develop your skill, knowledge and confidence.

the camp has the best location you can imagine! right at the sandy beach, 2 min walking from the city center, 10-15 minutes walk from the best surf spot [rocky point]

they had very good prices, we got all the help we needed. wide selection of surfboards, SUP and kayak is available guests for free :)

not a fancy place, but you just love to be there :)

Room Tip: stay in the apartment or in the front room. the one at the back has a tiny bathroom and much darker...

I stayed here for one week in the private apartment with a friend. The surf camp location is absolutely perfect, right on the beach with a great chill out area in front of the accomodation which is great for meeting fellow travellers and includes a BBQ which is great after a hard days surfing. The staff are really welcoming and friendly and make you feel right at home. The accomodation was spacious, spotless and recently renovated. The surf instructors Gregor and Danny were really good - very knowledgable and enthusiastic, and were able to accomodate slightly different levels of experience in the same lesson. They would often ride the same wave as you to give you on-on-one tuition. All in all a really fun trip. The island is really stunning and we had an absolute blast - I'll definitely be going back soon!

There are plenty of surf schools to choose from in Fuertventura all offering the same service at more or less the same price. We opted to use Billabong Surf School as they where situalled right on the beach near our Apartments. The Billabong team, Gregor & Danny were very helpful in making my sons (16 & 13 ) feel welcome & fould the lessons to be very helpful & informative. Lessons cost €45.00ea for the 1st 2 lessons and then €30.00ea per lesson thereafter. Included in the price is transport to beach that offers the best surf on the day and all equipment from surfboards, rash vests to wetsuits . 5/5 star rating. Their positive fun "surf days" made this an extremely positive teenager holiday. I would not hesitate to use Billabong again - Thanks Guys.
