You reach this beach most easily by bus or car. Only the young and very healthy should try a walk out there! It is very heavy to bring your feet up and down into the sand!
The beach is simply wonderful! It stretches as far as your eye can reach. If you arrive from the North, you’ll have the sea at your left, with all its glittering and shimmering nuances of turquoise, green, white and blue. You’ll probably stay there long enough to notice the change of the tide. Sometimes you’ll have to walk far into the wet sand in order to reach the water, other times you just walk right into it. Do not hesitate! The water is nice, there are no sharks or stingy jellyfishes. Just pure water! However, be careful with the waves. They can easily take you as a small beach ball and drown you into the water. Take a deep breath when you see a wave coming! Also, never turn your back against the waves. Be prepared, be a good swimmer and stay close to the beach! Every year hundreds of tourists get drowned in the Canary island waters.
For those who are interested, there are spots, where naturist people usually visit. This means that you are supposed to take your clothes off and get this healthy sun tan all over your body. Only with a proper sun shield, of course
