“Clearly above the rest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2010

It was certainly one of the gastronomic highlights of my visit to Fuerteventura. The restaurant is fairly small, so you get a lot of personal attention from one of the owners, Birgit, who is really good at 'selling' you the restaurant specials. I went there for dinner and it was all very nice. The shrimp cocktail was excellent, and everything seemed real fresh. The grilled 'Corvina' was spectacular, and the red RIoja was adequately priced. The Catalonian Cream was decadent, and I ran out of room for anything else. Located away from all the cheap touristy restaurants on the main strip, but worth the extra walk. Perfectly bilingual, and light years from the rest.

Ate here twice in our two week stay. Absolutely delicious food and can understand why it's number one on Trip advisor. Lovely friendly service, great atmosphere and great food.

“simple food cooked to perfection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2010

We ate all around and this hidden gem was by far the best . We went twice and would have gone a few more times but we had to head home. The lady who greets and serves guest is a genuinely lovely person who obviously takes pride in her retaurant. Her husband (The Chef) also takes pride in his simple yet stunning food. The food is cooked to perfection, an excellent selection of wines to compliment the food. One of the best meals we have ever eaten, twice. The bread and homemade olive oil is enough to go back for alone, If we lived there we would eat there at every chance.

“Fantastic all-round restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2010

Read some great reviews on TripAdvisor before we went out, so made sure we reserved a table for our last night as we knew it would be great.

And we certainly weren't disappointed, it's worth reserving and paying slightly more for, as it does stand out massively against the other restaurants in Corralejo (which are all of a very high standard too!) Also make sure you go for three courses, as it is definitely worth the money.

Everything combines at this restaurant for the perfect experience. The intimacy and exclusiveness of it together with the food and service makes it #1 on here. Just 8 tables there, and 3 staff. The waitress explains every item on the small menu in great detail, and can recommend a great wine to compliment what you order. Even though the menu is small, there are meat, fish, and vegetarian options for the starter and main course, and a variety of desserts.

The food itself is just magic, cooked to absolute perfection using the finest ingredients. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and if you are part of the second bunch of bookings (8pm or later) there may be a shortage of ingredients. In my case they had run out of banana's for the banana split, but the waitress asked four local restaurants (to no avail, unfortunately), and put together something totally different that wasn't on the menu; but was just magical.

Definitely the best restaurant we ate at in Corralejo, would definitely make sure I went back if I visit the resort again. 10/10
