“Its got the WOW factor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Fantastic place, imaculately clean and well kept.
Better than the pictures on website! Service from staff 110%
Its just 5 minutes from a local large supermarket and 5 mins to the beach.
I guess its only downside is its 30mins walk to the town centre or €4 in a taxi so not really a problem.
Breakfast was excellent with a full compliment of English and continental.
We paid the extra for the heated pool which was excellent.
I have read the few negative feedbacks and it never ceases to amaze me what people will moan about! I will agree if you had small children the set up of the rooms is not ideal as they are not linked to the main building except by access to the pool.

This was our first visit to Bahiazul Villas and we were not disappointed! From the moment we arrived the holiday was extremely chilled out and the whole family found it be a great holiday. I travelled with my wife and four children (Ages 13, 10, 10, 8). The villas are fantastic, the first time really that I've been away and pictures I saw on the internet actually reflected the reality. The Villa has a spacious open plan living room with small kitchen coming off it. The lounge area had two comfy sofas, a tv which we never even switched on and patio doors leading out onto the pool area.

The pool was large enough for my four children to be in at the same time and all have a fun time. There was plenty of space around the pool for seating.

On the roof there is a fantastic sunbathing area, which was great when the kids were down in the pool. There is also a bbq area, which if you look at any pictures is the blue dome. The icing on the cake is the hot tub which was brilliant for chilling out in late into the evening.

The bedrooms are all spacious, with each having its own en-suite. The master bedroom has really nice walk-in shower area with double head shower and jets on the wall sides giving you a great shower experience. Our apartment had just been renovated and had a new adjoining door into the twin bedroom. This door gets over a lot of the issues people have reported previously with children being in rooms that have no direct access in the main living area. (it may be worth requesting a villa with the adjoining door specifically as not all villas had been renovated). The third bedroom, which is a double, is only accessible still from the patio area. We never found this an issue and our two ten year olds slept in there. I could lock the door at night with the key, and if they need to they could still open the door from the inside.

We booked direct with the Bahiazul complex, as opposed to a privately rented villa, and had breakfast included in the price. The breakfast is excellent, and if people find any fault with this then maybe they would be the type to still moan if they won the lottery! The breakfast went on till 11 am daily so we ended up making it into brunch which saw us through till the evening.

The staff on site were all really friendly and very helpful. We had a couple of minor issues on arrival, but these really aren't worth going into and were sorted out without delay.

It is about a 30-40 min casual stroll from the villas into Corralejo town, which has nice beaches and some fantastic restaurants. We ate out most nights but with kitchen in the villa is more than adequate if you wanted to eat in. There is a supermarket 250 meters out the front of the complex if you want to get supplies. Just another fifty meters down from the supermarket was a nice little bar.

Overall we could not fault this holiday and would whole heartedly recommend it.

Visited 14-21st March, three adults - booked through their own website.
Really enjoyed our recent stay and would definitely recommend and return. All the staff were exceptionally friendly; Victor on reception was more than helpful in recommending local restaurants; and the staff we met at breakfast were always conscious of how are stay was going.
The location is nice and quiet (possible due to the time of year) and the apartments felt private enough – although you could see the roof top next to you.
The apartments are well laid out and the kitchen is well equipped wit a half size fridge, half size freezer, dishwasher (with tablets), oven hob (no oven) and microwave. As well as juicer, blender, toaster and general utensils. There is also washing up liquid and sponges – so you really only need to buy food. The only tip I would give is get small bin bags.
The master bedroom has a comfy bed, large double head shower with side jets, large vanity area with large and small mirror and full size hairdryer. The other rooms had basic showers and unfortunately I found the beds hard for my liking.
The apartment was starting to look a little tired and a few things weren’t quite thought out, but nothing that caused us to not enjoy our holiday. So that’s the only reason I would give it 4 stars and not 5.
Breakfast was lovely – plenty to choose from, hot and cold food. And we also ate at the restaurant one night which was also lovely.
There is a Mercadona supermarket virtually next door (5 minute walk max), which is very cheap – cheaper than England so you could easily buy all your toiletries (including brands) there. You can also buy your BBQ charcoal and lighter here.
It took 5-10 minutes to drive into the old town and every time cost us 4.55 euros. Reception or security were always happy to order a taxi and there are three taxi points in the town.
We hired a car for the week and enjoyed exploring the Island. Cotillo was a nice drive and a lovely view. We also drove down the west cost of the island down to Jandia, which was a great drive with lots of places to stop for an amazing view. The Jandia beach was amazing and huge! The drive back up the east coast was unfortunately not as scenic.

We booked the villa via Holiday lettings, you book from the pictures posted not always expecting what you you see,Well I have to say from the moment myself and Sharon (not my wife) arrived it was suburb.

Greeted by Victor at reception, an absolute delight, that feeling of being made special was continued throughout our holiday, be it reception, restaurant or the pool attendant/ house keepers.

Our Villa was all that was advertised exceptional, having stayed at many 5 star locations and being quite demanding all I can say is Go and try it.

We did have a problem with the pool loosing water, it was just a call via the in house phone to reception, and sorted within hours.

What we loved was the style of the interior, the music system piped throughout was fantastic throughout the villa pool area and roof terrace. Don,t forget your music to link in.

Exceptional back in May

We stayed in Bahiazul last February. It was the second time we visited Corralejo and decided to try a new hotel. We liked much the idea of a Villa.

From our arrival until the last day the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant, both the reception and the restaurant, where we ate twice. The restaurant deserves a special mention: exquisite food and excellent service.

The villa was very comfortable and spacious: Own kitchen, private pool, and a rooftop with barbecue and Jacuzzi. The whole outdoor area was white: white floors, white walls. Around the pool we find several typical Canarian plants, including a banana full of bananas! We did not dare to try them.

Since before arrival they proposed a lot of activities to explore the island. Although our primary goal was to rest, we decided to visit Lobos Island by boat. The Bahiazul boat was fine, almost new. It was a catamaran with a fiendly skipper called
Fonfo. It was a great day, we visited Lobos Bay, one of the most magical places we have ever seen. We snorkelled surrounded by fish, kayaking, was one of the best days of our holiday, and the weather was perfect.

Room Tip: It is located about 5 minutes drive from the beaches of the Natural Park of the Dunes of Corralejo...

Better than we could have hoped for, villa wonderful could not find any faults, clean, very well equiped. All staff were wonderful with the restaurant staff standing out with exceptional service, quality of food again exceptional and the prices very reasonable. We saw review regarding Villas not secure but our villa was secure and we had no concerns at all. Will we be going back?? YES definitely.
We would like to thank everyone at Bahiazul Villas & Club for a wonderful week we spent with them.
