“Great Resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

We have just returned from our first visit to Las Brisas resort and were very impressed. It is extremely well run and maintained, and the villas are beautifully clean and well equipped with large, flat screen TV's which show English TV channels. The staff are helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There is a small shop on-site for any basic food items, and also a bar and restaurant which has various entertainment in the evenings. Most of the bar/restaurant staff were very pleasant but there was one particular young lady who was very sullen and unhelpful - so much so that, having been ignored for 10 minutes, we walked out and went elsewhere. The young waitress was delightful however, and made up for her rude colleague. The location of the resort is excellent, and just a short walk will take you to the many restaurants on the sea front.

My only criticism of Las Brisas would be the sun-bed policy. It states quite clearly in the information booklet in the villa that reservation of sun-beds is strictly forbidden, and that personal items will be removed from sunbeds by the lifeguard after one hour if the beds are not used. We regularly saw beds reserved for a whole day, with people appearing in the late afternoon to claim them. This was not a major issue for us as the resort was not too busy and we were always able to find beds, but it would become a real problem during busy periods. Our villa was located by the pool and we were frequently awoken by sun-beds bring dragged around very early in the morning. This problem really does need to be dealt with.

Apart from the above we had a very good holiday and would certainly return to Las Brisas We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for first class accommodation in a well run resort.

Just spent another enjoyable two weeks at this well maintained and friendly resort. It is family friendly, it has a childrens pool and there are two sessions when inflatables can be used in the main pool. The resort is close to the seafront and all amenities, shops, restaurants etc. There are paved walks along the seafront to the Rubicon marina in one direction or the Lighthouse in the other. Either makes for a pleasant stroll. An ideal base wether you want to relax or explore. If you don't want to hire a car consider Last Minute Travel who provide a door to door service from the airport and return for 40 Euros.

Room Tip: A villa along the side road (opposite Las Casitas) should be quiet enough. It's away from the ba...

Recently returned form a weeks holiday. This resort is only suitable for the 'older' generation or those who wish to enjoy a holiday in complete silence.
I travelled with my sife and three yr old son and found it strange that the pool was nearly almost empty - then I discovered why - balls, inflatables etc are not allowed in the pool - things which children would use on a hoilday. So if you are a family who likes t ospend a few hours by the pool whilst your children play - this is not the resort for you. (my 3 yr old son was told off by another guest for dancing!!!)

The evening entetainment was poor, think butlins holiday camp and you get the idea.

The accomodation itself was very good, the best I have had in a number of holidays to Lanzarote.

It is clear Las Brias is more of a retirement village and should be advertised as such, so that families can find something more suited to their needs.

I have just returned after 2 weeks at wonderful Las Brisas and, as mentioned in my previous review, I would hesitate to go anywhere else. The villa I go to regularly is privately owned, has been refurbished, and is immaculate. Everything you could want is on your doorstep. Another perfect holiday and perfect weather too!

We have visited Las Brisas on a number of occasions, the latest being from 25 Apr - 9 May 2013. What we enjoy about this resort is that you know the high standards of service and accommodation are always maintained. You simply turn up and are immediately at ease with the surroundings and the friendliness of the staff. The shops and supermarkets are right opposite, which was fine for us as we decided to use the cooking facilities in the villa rather than eat out every night.

We hired a car through Cabrera Medina picking it up at the airport and went exploring the northern part of the Island during our stay, visiting places such as “Cueva De Los Verdes and Jameos Del Aqua.

We also took the opportunity to visit the neighboring island of Fuerteventura for a day using the Fred Olsen ferry which takes about 25 minutes each way.

Playa Blanca itself never loses it charms and there is always something different to see each time we revisit.

We enjoyed another super week at Las Brisas.
The staff were as friendly and helpful as ever.
The villa was clean and in good condition.
On this trip we visited Cueva de los Verdes an amasing lava tube and walked around the rim of Caldera Blanca volcano. We also visited the Sunday market at Teguise.
We would recommend Las Brisas to one and all.

Just back from this resort, which offers clean and well-cared for accommodation, in a location around 4/5 minutes from the central prom. The staff were, for the most part, attentive and helpful, as well as smiley! A good size bar offers reasonably priced snacks during the day and drinks priced in line with other sources in the area. Pool area well kept with a couple of top-notch lifeguards who seemed to really enjoy their job, and mixing with grown-ups and children alike. My only beef is the poor quality WiFi which was so slow and patchy as to be unusable, though they had no hesitation in refunding my cash when I complained.
Definitely one to try...

Room Tip: Take a room facing away from the bar and at a bit of a distance. The place isn't particularly no...
