“RELAXING HOTEL”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

We've just spent a week here on a bed and breakfast rate only. The hotel was so quiet and relaxing it didnt appear to have anyone staying, when in fact it was full. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is not a 5* but a really good 4* and well worth it. There were plenty of sunbeds to go round, although this could have been due to the time of year. The location is a 5 minute walk from the beach. Breakfast was more than a continental buffet. There was something for everyone, even salmon/scrambled eggs and sparkling wine! Evening meals were excellant and great value. You could walk to Cala Millor but there is a bus stop which takes you almost anywhere. A bus ride into Cal Millor is 3 euros and a taxi ride back from CM was 5 euros. Evenings are good in S'illot and a nice stroll in Cala Millor. Definitely hire a car and see more of the island. Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia is an hour and twenty mins away but worth the drive.

Just returned from a week at the Mallorca Palace. On arrival we were greeted with champagne and staff couldn't be more pleasant and helpful.
The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable and looks the nicest when compared to surrounding hotels. All neccessary amenities were there although if you're female with long hair I would bring your own hairdryer as you could be there for a while with the little one provided in the bathroom!

Not sure if this was due to the time we went, but there was never a race for sunbeds or lack of them. Very chilled by the poolside.

We did find the meals a bit repetitive and found that there was a lot of fish yet not that much for vegetarians. Overall though it was a good buffet and cant really complain!

The only downside of our holiday was Sa Coma itself. We found it to be a bit 'Brits abroad' with a lot of loud English bars. Not the kind of place you'd go to soak up the local culture!! However if you walk 5 mins into S'Illot then its much more chilled and has nicer bars along to beach front.

If we ever returned to Sa Coma then we would 100% be coming back to Mallorca Palace :-)

Room Tip: We stayed in the main block of the hotel on floor 1 and didn't hear a thing at night, despite be...

My family has just recently returned from Mallorca Palace in Sa Coma,... Fabulous !! It was clean , peaceful , five star treatment from the staff, lovely rooms and the attention to detail was second to none. The location of the hotel was great ...3 mins into sa coma and 3 mins into s'illot. This hotel would be my first choice and would recommend to any body looking for five star treatment. I have read some reviews from people who wrote bad reports.... these people must be looking for the impossible !!!

Room Tip: Ask for a first or second floor room , 3215 and 3216 have really good views. You can Email the hotel...

We stayed in this hitel about 3 months ago, hotel was clean and a decent location, although it is on a main road and youcan hear the road from the side of the pool! the staff were at times rude and unhelpful, on the last day they tried to charge us for our last meal at lunchtime even though on our first day we didnt get there until 6pm.

Felt like they didnt really want to help with most things and it was difficult to get a decent sun bed as everyone puts their towels down at 9am and dont move them all day.

Was pleased with the room itself but not the locaton or the staff, i dont think hearing the road is ideal when on holiday!

We have stayed in this hotel for 1 week in august 2013. Here some positives & attention points:

Positive:
- Staff is very helpful & friendly
- Hotel is clean
- Set-up of hotel is convenient
- Nice location
- Good breakfast (in terms of choice & quality)
- Nice pool

Negative points:
- The beds (2 single bed room) were not comfortable in our opinion.
- Guests are blocking beds in the pool area with their towels without using it. Therefore it is sometimes very hard to find a bed near the pool. Hotel staff seems to approve this.

Overall a positive experience.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights to 8th August 2013.
Hotel absolutely great, lovely grounds and pool.
Staff very attentive and nothing too much trouble.
For night time entertainment turn right to S'Illot which is 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of beach bars and restaurants in a typical Mallorcan setting.
Great hotel, superb beach, nice bars etc for relaxing evenings. Good for young families or couples.
Would definitely return.

Room Tip: Email the hotel direct and request a room on the second floor.
