“One of our best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

After doing TA homework we decided on the Vista Badia and were not disappointed. We had contacted the hotel beforehand requesting a room facing away from the pool and got 250 which was ideal. Check in was simple, just a passport scan with no forms to fill in. We ate out every day so can't comment on food, (Self catering.). Our rooms were excellent and cooking facilities if we did have a snack were very good. We had an issue with the fridge which wasn't functioning properly, and, after contacting reception, was replaced within 10 minutes. Must say that beds were comfy and sunbeds plentiful. Staff professional and attentive. Superb holiday, will return.

Room Tip: Our room 250 was off the ground floor and facing away from the stage and pool. If you like a bit of...

We went self acting to this hotel in September 2013 and had a lovely relaxing break. The resort is full of good value places to eat and the portions in most are huge!!! The Aerosmith Hypermarket is really good value & only 5 minutes away along the main road and has loads of choice of food and drinks. The hotel is general very good - our room was on the back overlooking the resort which gave us plenty of opportunity for people watching. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped if a little tiered I parts. As other people have commented the beds are twins not doubles and are very hard but the sofas are very comfy for that afternoon nap in front of the TV :-). We would definitely go back tot his resort and likely to this hotel, and having been awY all inclusive for our last 4 or 5 holidays would not hesitate to recommend self acting in this resort. The beach is also fabulous - loads of clean white sand, and the walk to Cala Millor and Cala Nona are well worth it.

we have not long returned from an 11 night stay at this hotel, we travelled as a couple and even though this is more of a family orientated hotel we still had a lovely time. the hotel is well organised from all aspects and we really couldn't fault it. it is clean well kept and the staff are great, they really do try and accommodate your needs and work really hard, we decided to go for the all inclusive option as we found that to be more economical for 2 of us, we where happy with the food options on a daily basis with the exception of 1 day when there didn't appear to be any hot food available at the pool restaurant and it was too late to go eat in the main dining hall that day, the wok cooking performed mainly by Lydia was a must i ate this at least 6 times through our stay and as others have also commented that the all inclusive ice creams where the best that have been available to date. the hotel is in a good location it is quite close to the beach which was very busy on most days and also accessible for walks to other resorts along the sea front, the resort of sa coma was bigger than we expected with plenty of eating places, bars and tourist gift shops, some people have given negative comments regarding the entertainment at the hotel but we actually enjoyed it, the entertainments team worked so hard for the little ones every day to keep them occupied and happy then most nights would put on some musical based performance for every one, i really enjoyed these and apart from being entertaining found them quite funny which i also think was the intention, this hotel isn't trying to be anything other than what it is which is a good well run family hotel, the accommodation is very good we had a 1 bedroom apartment with a large balcony we would deffo stay there again.

Room Tip: we where allocated an upgrade room as part of our package and these are great with nice big balconie...

First time at this hotel and really liked it! Cannot fault anything about the hotel, service, cleaning etc. we went self catering, kitchen well equipped ( although can opener useless!). We were on second floor with larger balcony - really nice! The rooms above us had nice long balconies too but not as wide. The other hotels in this group around the Vista Badia had lots of other things to offer, although we did not try them out, I did walk to the spa hotel which looked really lovely but I thought the treatments were little expensive. I would not recommend the Protour farm, felt bit sorry for the animals, just wanted to chuck some water over them as it was so hot and not much water in sight for them!
The entertainment was a bit loud, but it was only on for about an hour at lunch time by the pool, and in the evenings it seemed to finish about 11.
Pool was lovely, deep, big and wasn't too busy, even with inflatables.
I did notice the inflatables for sale at the shops by the hotel were nearly twice the price than the same ones just up the road by the beach!
The beach is wonderful, very sandy and quite shallow for quite a way out!
Would defiantly recommend the restaurant - EL SOL, on road to beach, especially if you don't want burger and chips! Fresh fish - delicious! Not to mention the veal and steaks! The service is good, very friendly and the staff great fun! Felt very welcome in there!
If you hire a car, do go to Domingoes, C'ala Mallorca. I regretted not jumping off the cliff there when we went to C'ala Bona last year......but did it this year! Amazing!
Would defiantly go to this hotel again! Great hotel, great position, great staff! Very helpful and good English!

Room Tip: Rooms facing baby pool (blocked by trees) - not too noisy ! (South side)

Stayed here 11th - 25th September. Came with family and had 2 one bedroom apartments. Both rooms were kept spotlessly clean by the cleaners who did a great job, very pleased with their service. Hotel complex is also kept to a high standard including the pool. waiter staff were very friendly and attentive without intruding and did not hover around waiting for tips unlike other hotels we have stayed in.
Overall this has been one of the better holidays we have had. Only downsides were one- the entertainment team who were not up to 4 star quality except the few nights when outside acts were brought in who were all excellent. The other problem was with Thomsons who whilst having a rep on site for most of the 2 weeks did not have anyone on the coach taking us to and from the airport. Neither was the rep in attendance when we arrived and left although i noticed at other hotels where the coach stopped to pick up and drop-off their reps were in attendance.
overall top marks to the hotel and a big letdown from Thomsons.

Room Tip: Pool side rooms are odd numbered and have a better view than even numbered rooms which look out over...
