Like most others on this site I was a little concerned to see what awaitied us. We stayed in Leda 3, the rooms were bright and exceptionally clean (maid service Mon Weds Friday, beds changed weekly), no air con but fans to hire from reception. If you're travelling with small children would probably request a complex further away from the road but with three teenagers it was ideal for us. Yummy Yummy offers typical brit breakfast quite cheap. Food at the hotel was fine but a bit repetative. The Luna grill was a really buzzy place to be full of atmosphere. The food was great and the portions MASSIVE. In the centre bar is the lovely Pasqual and Lola who made our holiday. The tribute bands were great fun there. Look out for Rod Stewart... he bought the house down. The show Garden was ok but after about 5 days all of us didn't bother going to see it. There is a great italian restaurant out of main gates turn left, also the Tivoli opposite the main gate is great as it offers the cheapest internet access for those of you with kids that cannot cope for a fortnight without msn. Must see for kids of all ages is the Pirates show, book this with the 'No Frills' agency further along from Yummys for the best price although the meal at the venue is pants, 4 chicken nuggets a few chips and coleslaw, so eat before you go! The Robinson boat was voted as being our best day out. Diving into the med, fishing off the boat, sunbathing and snorkelling for a whole day, definately worth the money. Slap on loads of sun cream, the waves splashing over the boat + the sun all day really caught a few people out. Inca market was ok but the stalls are very repetitive, belts, hats, bags etc although some good haggling to be done if you like that sort of thing.
All in all I wouldn't go back as I never do the same hotel twice but the kids had a great time, met great friends and thankfully ours was a great experience. It's a shame that not every visitor is able to experience this.

The Bellevue was a great place to take my 11 year old - loads to do and plenty of entertainment. Serena I Apartments were clean and well equipped and the housekeeping staff very helpful.
The reception staff have a very Spanish attitude to life in general and sometimes it took 2 - 3 times to achieve your aim, but we got there in the end.
The only downside to the whole trip was the smell. I don't know where it was coming from, but when the wind changed direction it was very, very unpleasant. My daughter liked to think it was coming from the teenagers who seemed to congregate near the canal, but it was actually the smell of sewerage.
We had a great time, beware the over priced Go-Karts and haggle with the African hair braiders, but take advantage of the boat to the beach (return for 3Euros) and hire a fan.

Just got back from the Bellevue and like many others before had been dreading going after reading the bad reviews.

We were in federa 1 apartments which I believe are no go during June as the spanish students take over the block, they were very basic but clean and the maids came 3 times a week to clean round and leave fresh towels (if you left dirty towels in the bath to be changed) We were on the 7th floor and had no problems with the lifts working.

The place itself is Butlins in the sun, more or less, which was great for us as the entertainment team are brilliant with the kids, they even took time out to make activities for the adults to play, such as water polo and archery, rifle shooting, which I though was a good idea.

Food, We were self catering and I can reccommend Yummy Yummy's breakfast and Tivoli and Luna's are great for evening meals, Try their pineapple boat deserts, my three kids loved them ! We ate the resturant near the show garden in the Bellevue complex once and the meal was quite good, although I would not reccomend the breakfast at the caffeteria as although they sound value for money, i thought they were poor in comparison to some.

Yes you do have some noise on an evening from people coming home from a night out but overall it was not a massive problem for us.

The only bad point as such is the sunbeds, if you want one be prepared to be up at 7 to reserve a bed, the hotel says there policy is no reserving but they do nothing about it. We were told one morning at 7 am "you cannot put towels on beds" I thought fair enought if they are going to stop everyone then thats ok, only to get up at 8am and all the beds had towels on them, and when I spoke to the reception they said they could not stop people, So i replied that I would be doing the same thing, the thing is some people were blaming the germans, but actually it was the english and the irish holiday makers doing it !

Overall we had a fantastic holiday and if we were looking for a cheap get away them we would return to the bellevue.

We stayed a familie of 5 in Leda 3 and we loved the place.

Our 2 oldest children arrived 2 days after us and they had a room in Diana 2 - and it was ok.

The only thing missing is aircon. but we bought 2 fans and they kept us with cool air at night time.

We had read the very bad reviews on Bellevue and was about to cancell the stay - and we are so glad we didn't.

There wasn't any problems getting DRINKS. Very nice staff. We did not even once wait for more that max. 5 min. at any of the bars.

The FOOD in the buffet restaurant is great. Everyday something new and very tasty - it did not at all taste the same. REALLY GREAT food and i must tell you that my husband is a french cook and he just loved the food. I can't understand the negativity about waiting to get the food when there are about 500-600 in the restautant you know you have to wait in line and for us it was not a problem. We have never been to a restautant and been served at once - that is not possible anywhere in the would.
If I schould saw anything about a bit of mess with the food - it must be all the children not knowing how to behave. If all parents were looking out for the children there would not be food and drinks all over the floor all the time. But I must say the staff was very fast cleaning the floor. We never waited to be seated - some days we had to sit at 2 tables after our 2 oldest children arrived - but we didn't mind.

True there is not enough SUNBEDS. We faced the pool and at night from 2 o'clock people were getting up to put towels on the sunbeds.

We spent most of our time at the pool by the lake - nice place super service in the bar and not that many people.

There are mostly english people and they are very noisy especially at night time - and for a couple of nights we had to close the windows to get a little bit of sleep.

The staff in the RECEPTION was very friendly. We arrived at noon and got our room at once. Our 2 oldest got their room at 2 o'clock but they got the all incl. bracelet at once(they arrived at 11).
