Like most others on this site I was a little concerned to see what awaitied us. We stayed in Leda 3, the rooms were bright and exceptionally clean (maid service Mon Weds Friday, beds changed weekly), no air con but fans to hire from reception. If you're travelling with small children would probably request a complex further away from the road but with three teenagers it was ideal for us. Yummy Yummy offers typical brit breakfast quite cheap. Food at the hotel was fine but a bit repetative. The Luna grill was a really buzzy place to be full of atmosphere. The food was great and the portions MASSIVE. In the centre bar is the lovely Pasqual and Lola who made our holiday. The tribute bands were great fun there. Look out for Rod Stewart... he bought the house down. The show Garden was ok but after about 5 days all of us didn't bother going to see it. There is a great italian restaurant out of main gates turn left, also the Tivoli opposite the main gate is great as it offers the cheapest internet access for those of you with kids that cannot cope for a fortnight without msn. Must see for kids of all ages is the Pirates show, book this with the 'No Frills' agency further along from Yummys for the best price although the meal at the venue is pants, 4 chicken nuggets a few chips and coleslaw, so eat before you go! The Robinson boat was voted as being our best day out. Diving into the med, fishing off the boat, sunbathing and snorkelling for a whole day, definately worth the money. Slap on loads of sun cream, the waves splashing over the boat + the sun all day really caught a few people out. Inca market was ok but the stalls are very repetitive, belts, hats, bags etc although some good haggling to be done if you like that sort of thing.
All in all I wouldn't go back as I never do the same hotel twice but the kids had a great time, met great friends and thankfully ours was a great experience. It's a shame that not every visitor is able to experience this.
