“Fine for a weeks holiday but not for any longer...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

We arrived on the 1st for a weeks holiday. This was our first holiday away with our 1yr old. We checked in no problem and our room seemed fine but on our first morning we found our bathroom infested with ants. If it was just one or two that would have been fine but they were everywhere!! We told reception who moved us straight away so can't complain.
The place is very clean. They even worked around our baby's sleeping pattern and came back to clean our room in the afternoon.
The food is basically what you expect. You pay for 3 star you get 3 star. None of us starved anyway so it was fine.
The entertainment was very loud at night and not really up to much (mr bean re runs and bingo).
The walls are very thin so please be considerate of other people if you're plannning on staying here!
All in all our stay here was fine. Nice for a week but i dont think i could have stayed any longer.

First time in alcudia,on arival couple in front sent to different hotel and noticed this going on the whole two weeks we were there,but quickly resolved i think.bit off putting when you first get there though.,Hotel in good location,5 mins walk from main street.Worth visiting the harbour takes 45 mins but you can get a bus to the beach.We went to can picafort and porta polensa,you can get a bus at the roundabout at Kfc,they both lovely and its nice to go out for something different to eat rather that the All inclusive.Food in hotel is repetative but always something you can have.Entertainment could be improved ,some nights good a soul band,westlife tribute band althought they only sang two westlife songs and the rest motown etc they were great ,and the magician show which we wernt looking forward too but was fantastic.Team try hard but needs some improvement,struggled to understand them.no english reps.Staff all helpful but queues at the bar at night a bit of a nightmare ,On the whole we had a good holiday plenty to do and hotel is what you pay for.Rooms spotless and beds made every day and clean towels etc.The rest of the hotel spotless too.Worth a visit :}

Room Tip: we were on the bottom floor next to reception.Bit noisy but i had ear plugs.Walls paper thin so you...

My wife and I stayed at the BelleVue Lagomonte for 5 nights towards the end of September 2012. We have stayed there many times before but won't be staying there any more. The reason for this is the dramatic drop in standards since last year.
The food, along with the choice of food, was extremely poor and although we were fully inclusive we ended up eating out. This was after I picked up a bad case of food poisoning. I spent a day, most of that time in the toilet, with severe pains etc etc.
The drinks were served in small party type plastic cups which held nothing and repeated visists back to the bar was required.
The floor in the room was so dirty that your feet were black after walking bare foot across the floor, it didn't look like the floor had been cleaned for a good long time. There were flies in the rooms/in the restauarnt and there did not seem to be any attempt to control these. There were 4 or 5 flies at any one time and these were a real nuisance as well as a health hazard.
The entertainment was non existant although there was a lot of noise coming from the entetainmet area. It just seemd totally random and left to the in house team.
When checking out I mislaid my receipt for the safety deposit box and judging from the look I got from the receptionist this was a terrible thing - if looks coudl kill.
All in all a lower end budget hotel

Arrived here on sat 29th for 1 week holiday, this was my first holiday abroad so dont have anything to compare it too but here goes....
Arrived at around 3pm and checked in without a wait, we dropped our bags and headed straight for the island which was a quiet haven with plenty of sun loungers and a lot quiter than main pool -Only the food was covered in flies and put me off instantly.

Had a few ants in the bathroom but cleaners sorted it out and didnt really bother us.

Attitude of some staff was terrible, they were always cleaning but very rarely had a smile for you or a reply to our gratitude.

Food wasnt up to much but i guess you get what you pay for but being all inclusive we ate out ALOT as i was tiring of living on chips, dry pasta and cheese.

Didnt see alot of activities through the day just people lazing around the pool as you do.

Drinks wernt upto much so we headed to the jolly roger 6 out of our 7 nights which made our holiday bearable.

All in all had a nice holiday but spent more time out of the hotel than in it but that was our choice, hotel is a 3 star so wasnt really expecting anything else.
Cheap and cheerful.

After reading the recent reviews we were fully expecting to be moved elsewhere to start with but were pleased that we actually got in first time. So we thought the problems must have been resolved but no from day 3 of 14 every day people were being moved for the first night due to overbooking which is totally unacceptable in this day in age of computers etc. We felt for them. Anyway to our review first impressions were very good we have been to Alcudia a few times but never here before. The room was basic but had everything we needed except one vital component that being a toilet brush! So do pack one as it may get embarassing or at least marigolds if you are brave hehe. The cleaners were exceptional daily cleaning and towel changes were appreciated and not expected. As everyone else has said the cleaners were busy all day around the hotel especially the lady with her red baseball cap turned around and a ponytail. she always had a smile and was very attentive. The main pool looked very busy and noisy but had plenty of new sunbeds available but we lived on the island every day which was heaven and we met some lovely people including some mediums you know who you are.
We were on the all inclusive option but found the food boring and repetitive it was ok for the first 4 or 5 days but then we ate out. Breakfast was ok but was too cold at times even though a microwave was on site. During the day the food on the island was left out all day and after falling ill early on gave it a wide berth after that. In the restaurant the meats were not always cooked properly and as for the smell sometimes made us feel sick sometimes. If the fresh fish being cooked did not get you then the gorgonzola on the other side certainly did.
Drinks were very weak and not enough glasses available at night. They should have a help yourself beer station next to the bar which would see alot of the queues disappear.
Finally the entertainment was appalling the shows brought in were good but although the animation team work hard their shows were the worse i have seen in the 40 years of going abroad. Would we go back i am not sure yes we saved money being on all inclusive but went out so much in the end not sure we got value for money but if we do it is only the staff and the island that may swing it.
