We arrived Sept 16th.Thankfully the hotel wasn't full!
EVERYTHING in this hotel is too small:-
The lifts (4 persons?)
Toilets in the bar area (2).
Pool
Restaurant-Bar
ALL too small!
On arrival we were given a key to a room on the 7th floor. The staff were very helpful in changing to a lower floor immediately. Probably due to the hotel being reasonably quiet.
The room was clean and compact, although the bathroom was tiny and felt like an extension of the next room due to the vents carrying the voices clearly.
Other reviews on this hotel comment on the sun bed issue but this wasn't too bad due again to the time we visited I think.
Some tour operators won’t accept child bookings however there were children there, thankfully not many due to the school holidays being over.
The "entertainment" was very poor. Bingo in 1 language is bad enough but 3?
We were all inclusive but I'd recommend going half board and upgrading there for 12 euros pppn.Due to the fact that one of the two bars was very rarely open, hence huge queues and nowhere to sit near the outdoor bar.
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful although the "older" female bar staff at the outdoor pool seemed only to like the Spanish, She was downright rude to everyone else. Even if you did try using your basic Spanish.
The location of this hotel is perfect. A stone's throw from a fantastic beach, with shops and bars also nearby.
We tried a few of the local bars for food and drink, again due to the lack of bar staff at the hotel. Recommending Pago Pago. Also take a wander down to the port and visit "the Irish Tavern" friendly staff and reasonable prices.
We'd definitely visit this area again, probably later in the season like this visit, but would choose a different hotel.
