We have just returned from a week in Port d'Alcúdia where we found it really hard to find nice places to eat not wanting the touristic "international cuisine" with everything from English breakfast through pizza and steaks to paella on the photo-illustrated menu!
But then we found Bistro del Jardin: Wonderful quiet setting in a lovely garden. The menu is not huge but we do much prefer a small well-prepared menu over a large, international and prefabricated selection. Our three-year-old was much welcomed. Really good food and fine, polite service in spite of a single misunderstanding regarding our order.
We had dinner there twice and found it the best place in Port d'Alcúdia.
