“Dissapointing!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Although the hotel is sited in a quiet area of the town the facilities where and are dissapointing. Both rooms were old, very small and not well maintained. Cleanliness is also questionable and inside the hotel is very noisey. Breakfast was an adventure, choices limited at times, with the staff being generally ok. Closer to breakfast finishing the less co-operative they became. The bar and disco in complex was a no go as full of children and all inclusive guests who seemed to be priority. So overall a dissapointing stay in hotel.

Fortunetly the nearby town offered an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and entertainments.

Room Tip: Ask for a refurbished room ....

The hotel was better than we thought and our room had just been refurbished. Great views over the sandy beach of Paguera. Cleaned every morning and towels and sheets changed every day. The hotel staff were brilliant and very helpful. It is a mainly German hotel but the staff were fluent in three languages. No rowdy english yobs at night and a good selection of restaurants but quite a lot are pizzerias. If i had one issue it was the hotel residents commanding the sun loungers around all pools but just get up earlyish to get one.

Room Tip: Try and get the newly refurbished rooms still half the hotel to do...

The hotel is old and looks not good. Rooms are very small and narrow. Food is not varied - everyday breakfast looks the same and other meals aren't better. Hotel restaurant is too small. Service is not kind. Cleaning woman are not knocking into the doors before they open rooms and come in. There are not enough sunbeds and if you want one you have to wait in a line before 7 o'clock. Swimming pools are dirty. Sometimes in the rooms there are no warm water. Really big problem are elevators which are stopping on every of 9 grounds. Inside of them it's hot and airless. Air condition in rooms doesn't work if you open window.
This hotel was the worst one in my whole life.

Think twice before booking this hotel. The air conditioning in the rooms does not work,it makes a noise but does NOT work. This is a German hotel(I didn't think it would be a problem when I booked) it was awful! Everyone was rude, pushed in queues never a smile or good morning. They pushed into my five year old banged me on the back when i sat in the wrong seat. You had to get up at 5.30am to get a shade by the pool, towels on the shades! Sun beds unchained at 8.30 am people were laying on top of a stack of sun beds in order to secure theirs for the day,I've never seen anything like it. There are around 50 sun beds for a 900 roomed hotel(they didn't do the maths) The food was really bland we were all inclusive but only ate evening meal in the hotel twice, breakfast was ok.
The cleaning staff were great! No compliant there.
This hotel is in a beautiful spot but this is not enough,I would not recommend this place to any one.
We couldn't wait to get home 10 days of no sleep in a hostile environment, not a holiday!!

Returned just over a week ago from the Beverly Playa hotel.
What a surprise ! Everything was good and acceptable, a typical 3 star hotel.
Room were basic but cleaned daily with fresh towels. Could do with a little updating though but I understand they are refurbing some of the rooms. View of the beach was nice to wake up to and made up for any room faults. Food was varied and you could always find something to tempt you.
Bar service was busy at times but not too bad. Entertainers worked their socks off and the night club had a variety act every other night.
Peguera as a resort had something for everyone, nice walks, bars and within distance of Magaluf to get your fix of British bars!.
Don't worry you are the only English here enjoy your holiday and relax!

Room Tip: Visit Café Haus for the best mojito you'll ever taste !

Stayed for a week AI
Rooms basic, but very clean(done daily)
We were worried about the size of the room, as we were 3 people. They said they would put another bed in, but after complaining, the manager offered us a family room, but once the 3rd bed was there, it wasn't the problem I thought it would be..so we stayed put!
Nice big bathroom...only 1 spare mains socket though.
No English TV channel...not a major issue
They were replacing the beds when we left.
Generally, there are people constantly working throughout the hotel, the manager was constantly visible, and all are very friendly and helpful.
Very mixed clientele, from throughout Europe.
Pool areas very nice and relaxing, with the very good beach just outside.
Drinks ok...wine a bit ropey, a little queueing at times.
Food fresh, and a reasonable choice.

All in all, A well run, clean hotel, for the quieter holiday.

Room Tip: They are all basic, but clean....Don't bring too many electrical items! Not all have a bath, so...

Just come back from a week at the beverly playa with my fiance 14-21st may and we had an amazing time! please dont be put off by the negativity as similar to the review below, yes is well populated by german, french and spanish guests but we found everyone to be friendly (little disagreement with a german old man who took our table at dinner lol) but everyones here on holiday to have a good time!! we only know basic german and spanish from school but if u know basic thankus and good mornings they appreciate it!! we were in room 831 which was basic - be aware that there was only 1 plug socket in the bathroom and the only other one was high up where the tv sits so we only had 2 between us!! but apart from that room was spacious with a lovely balcony and seaview! we couldnt get an english tv channel but your on holiday not here to sit in and watch tv so we wernt bothered! The food, again was all fresh and constantly refreshed when beoming low on something - chefs all friendly!! even if u go down to dinner at 9pm you still get a huge selection and nothing is 'dry' OR looks 'warmed up' Entertainment was ok ish - problem is theres a lovely lady entertainer whos french isnt so good so trying to explain rules in 4 languages of game shows takes a while bless her but its still early season! all the entertainers smile and say hello when they walk past you and encourgae everyone to join in the activities! Plenty of sunbeds to be had, yes people reserve them but there are 2 huge pools with ample sun loungers around so we never struggled to get one even in the afternoon! all inclusive drinks were of a good variety - nice cocktail selection!! the town of paguera is lovely to stroll through with lovely beachside cafes if u want something different and all friendly people! defo recommend cafe ninas which is opposite the beverly lovely family run place! Have a great time! :)

Room Tip: might be worth an upgrade on arrival for more home comforts! our room 831 had the sun late in to the...
