we went around peguera trying to find any authentic spanish place to eat. we were trying to steer away from the british and german obvious choices. Bells bar was hidden in a quiet area among the busy loud promenades and really looked promising. It took us a million years to order as the waiter's english wasn't helpful at all. we also have some special dietary needs and it was difficult to get information from the waiter about how the ingredients of the dishes. the food took a long time to be ready as well. my husband had a paella which he said was very bad and I ordered a steak which really tasted very much like soap. I am not making a metaphor here.. it really tasted like soap.
the place was nice to sit in. very unique choice of decoration but somehow it worked together. I don't know how it would've been if we hadn't regarded it as a restaurant and just had drinks and snacks but I would not recommend eating there at all.
