We didn't expect much and we received more than we thought. Great and charming lobby, very polite staff (german speaking). The hotel room was ok (clean!). Air condition costs extra. We just opened the balcony door. We had one of the best rooms with view over the pool area (green trees, not loud at all), hills in the background and on your left you could see the sea.
Food wasn't as in a restaurant but ok. They always proposed something typically spanish like creme catalan or sea food salad. We just didn't like that you have to pay for drinks during dinner. Concerning breakfast, I didn't like the orange juice, which hasn't ever seen a real orange, but the coffee was good. ;)
One little thing: during summer season it seems to be usual to switch between hotels of the same quality, so we were in another hotel (cupido) for 3 days, which was one street farer away from the beach but we liked this one as well. Then we switched back.
So, all in all, great stay for little money. We even tried to speak spanish but nearly everybody speaks German over there! :D
