“Welcome Upgrade”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

This is the 7th or 8th time we have stayed at this hotel now, as it is so good. We were very
Pleased to discover that most of the rooms have now been upgraded, we stayed in a superior room. Quite impressed, on the whole package. However, my only complaint is that the shower wasn't functioning properly, for the whole of our week stay. There was a good variety of food and the staff were pleasant and helpful in the restaurant. The entertainment was a bit of a let down. We went out to the bars every night. Ideal location good holiday on the all, looking forward to next year. Hope the upgrades continue.

Room Tip: Book a superior room.

What a beautiful hotel, you could not pick a better location to put an hotel. The rooms were first class and cleaned daily, and all had excellent sea views. The beach was literally just outside the front door. The food was good, what you would expect, with a fair choice of menu. The one big disappointment was, for such a beautiful hotel, I have never seen such miserable looking staff in my life, there expressions would have soured cream, and looked like they would rather be anywhere else, with a few exceptions, two being our little cleaning lady on the 6th floor, who always had a smile and an hola or Buenos dias, and the reception staff. There is nightly entertainment, which in some cases wasn't bad, in others was pretty poor.
Like another reviewer, I would certainly recommend the hotel for its position and cleanliness, definitely not for the attitude of its staff.

Room Tip: If given the chance upgrade to a superior room, they are that much bigger.

Booked 2 superior rooms in January, arrived at the hotel on 23.06.14 to be told that they had over booked and that we would have to take 2 rooms on lower floor that were not superior. The hotel were blaming Thomson and Thomson were blaming the hotel, still waiting for a straight answer. If you have booked a superior room please confirm your booking with Thomson before you travel.

Great location right on the beach. Beach and sea are beautiful. Hotel very clean. Food good plenty of it. Rooms clean great view of sea. That's the good points. Only few bad points. Most of staff are not friendly look down on you. The all inclusive bar is so small compared to paying bar the entertainment is shocking and the beds really uncomfortable. But I would stay there again as its in great location

This is a hotel for the older clients , 70 and older with a few younger ones thrown in , by mistake I bet . The older clients are up in the morning at 7am waiting for the door to the sun beds around the pool area to open . Be aware you could get knocked over in the rush . The room we had on the 7th floor had a great view which was a superior room well worth the extra money, however when we arrived we had to sleep in a standard room which I would say was sub standard . I will be taking this up with thompson as the rep at the resort didn't have a answer why! . The food is a bit repetitive ok if you like chicken everyday , lovely salads , no British bacon considering it caters for the British and I can't understand that just outside the hotel all the restaurants all use British bacon. The pool bar staff need to learn to crack a smile it doesn't cost anything. I would not go back to this hotel well not for about 15 years , I might fit in then. We went all inclusive but went out nearly every day as there isn't enough sun beds so you are restricted to sitting at the pool bar area. The hotel management need it sorting out , no bums on beds then take there towels off and why do they need a extra sun bed for walking stick , bags and books. All in all the hotel has great views in a great position in the middle of Palma nova .

Room Tip: High floor superior room is a must!
