A good hotel if you want to be near the beach and amenities. Entertainment every night, bingo if you desire. Pool very cold but may warm up as the temperature improves. Rooms just ok, clean and everything you need. Overall I would recommend.

Ok, We arrived here straight off a Thomson Cruise arround the western Med. Having already been well looked after for a week, our expectations were high. I had booked this hotel with the all inclusive option as that is what we had on the Cruise. BIG Mistake on my part.
The hotel Building and facilities:
The Building is great, Bang on the edge of the beach, Very clean, Good sized Restaraunt, Coctail bar for pre-dinner drinks, Good sized Entertainment room, Small indoor pool with Built in Jaccuzi, Decent outdoor Pool and Bar with a small covered eating area. Plenty of sun loungers on 2 levels and south facing for all day Sun. 3 lifts ( as this is an 8 floor tower block ) Small 24 hour Reception desk and an onsite Hairdresser. This hotel also offers both paid for and free WI FI internet in the reception area.
The Rooms: There are apparently different levels of Quality with the rooms. I chose the Basic double room and was given a room on the 3rd floor North facing. the room was super, the beds very comfy, the Bathroom looked brand new. No a cracked tile is site, huge mirrow and hand basin, good size bath, and excellent shower. and no dodgy black sealant or limescale covered taps. I, we were well impressed with that room.
Ok Building and facilities covered.
Food: The was i thought excellent. However! However as i said we were on all inclusive so did expect all day food of some sort to be available. Not so. We had a couple of Days out and just missed getting back in for lunch, and so thought OK well go to the pool bar and order a Pizza or something. The barman He say NO. But we are all inclusive, again he Say NO, you wait untill 4 PM and you can have Tea and a Cake. We Complained to the reception desk and the receptionist just laughed in our faces. Ok we now know where we stand with this, lets make the most of what time we have left here.
Drinks: I suppose Pre-paid for drinks in all hotels are going to be the cheap ones, and a lack of Quality or choise, but they did offer a discount on the quality stuff. Not much else to say on that really.
Entertainment: Poor at the begining, 1st night was very poor, way too noisy and way too much base from the subwoofers. Second night was disgusting. Musical comedy Blues Brothers could not sing at all and jumped of the stage running arroud doing not very nice arround the seated guests. If i had booked those, they would have got my boot up thier [--]. after that they did get some ( 2 Actualy ) good acts which redeamed them a little.a Quite Male Comedian and then the last night a great female singer by the Name of Gee Carmichael, a lovely sheffiel born lass who now lives and works on Majarca.
Annimations Team, way too young and inexperianced for the Guests in this hotel, the team leader had only been here 6 weeks after training and his femail colleague had only been there 3 weeks.
Right finally, I mentioned that the food was very good and it was very tasty.
However my wife fell ill with diarhea and vomiting 3rd day in and it lasted for 2 days, and i managed to survive without incident until the penultimate day of our holiday, then i too got the Bug and ended up on the Loo more that a dozen times in the evening and it stayed with me for 3 days.
Conclusion: Just be carefull what you eat, dont book all inclusive, and dont expect great entertainment.

had nice week here again, there have been some nice updates since our last visit, new flat screen TV`s in rooms and a new sun deck, the sad side is that there are more young groups of people in the hotel due to the rise in prices in Magaluf, we were woken up at 4.30 am when the lads returned from there night out on more than one occasion, Also singing rather loud around the pool in the afternoon, we had been going to hotel because it`s quite and mainly couples and the odd young child hope it does not change to much more oh and the new water feature out front is nice also staff still brill rooms keep clean and cleaned every day, one thing would be nice if you put a few more English channels on the TV`S we know they have them in the Globes hotel across the road.

My wife and I had a lovely six days late April/early may, check in very quick and in room within five minutes, lovely view over the seafront walkway but room,tv,safe,(not big enough for I pad or laptop,Thomson please take note),very dated, but public areas, bars, restaurant etc very nice.We were half board and food was very good with plenty choice for breakfast, and evening meal, drinks prices reasonable and good choice of cocktails for the ladies but all inclusive would be better value.Great location between two lovely beaches with lots of good bars and restaurants about.Pool area was good also and no problem with sun beds this time of year but would be in demand during peak season.Staff were all helpful and friendly.Bingo and cabaret every night if you like that form of entertainment, some acts better than others, would not hesitate to return to this hotel again as is in a great location and also 25/30 minutes from Palma city and airport.

Just back home after a 12 day stay at this hotel. Overall our experience was positive. We checked in very easily and were given a pool-facing room as requested. It was quite small but very clean and adequate. The views from the balcony were fabulous. We found the food to be good with plenty of choice. I'm not sure what some people expect but you would have to be very fussy if you couldn't find something. All the staff were pleasant and friendly, from reception to bar and dining room staff. Special mention must go to our chambermaid (room 512), she was lovely. The little shop in the foyer is very handy for newspapers and bottled water and it was cheaper in there than most of the shops. The shows in the evenings were good although you have to be in the bar in good time to get a seat.
Now for the negatives. The entertainment staff didnt seem to have much idea. I would hardly call "stretching" and "hoops" the best things to be doing on holiday! They are probably very nice young people but to my mind were letting the hotel down and could do with someone to show them how it should be done. The reps I suppose were okay but they also seemed to be lacking in enthusiasm. Maybe the age of most of the guests had something to do with this! Lastly our biggest gripe would have to be the price of hiring the room safe and fridge. For both it would have been the best part of £100........with no refund at the end. This really is quite excessive and something we decided against, mainly on principle.
To sum up........This hotel is good value, in a fabulous position and if you dont mind fighting for a sunbed it could be for you, especially if you're of a certain age............

Room Tip: Pool-facing rooms on higher floors have the best views

Stayed here for a 4 day break in May, had a nice time, food very nice no complaints, staff very friendly. Pool area very small but there is a sun terrace aswell, beach right next to hotel and the beach is lovely. Room ok just in need of lick of paint to brighten them up. Loads of shops and bars right outside and lovely walk long beach. We went half board but decided to upgrade to all inclusive for €18 each day per person, works out so much cheaper as a diet coke was €3, Tia Maria €5....only thing I did not like was at the bar ...great big area for paying guests for their drinks and half the area for all inclusive guests. Also no towel hire but on the whole lovely few days.

Just back today after a stay and cruise .After reading some negative reviews I was a bit worried about choosing the Santa Lucia .I need not have worried .Ok the room wasn't plush ,it was clean the beds were comfy, the people friendly. The food was great and it was hot ,So anygood choices, and you had a bit where you got food freshly cooked ,my husband had steak ,he was impressed. The staff were welcoming .At night the entertainment was fantastic every night .Ok one act wasn't brilliant but they wasn't unbearable ,and you got one game only of bingo which you could tolerate ,they have to cater for everyone.Dont worry about staying here its fantastic .Its on the beach ,location for buses ,shops and bars all near ,and it wasn't noisy .And to top it off or second week was brilliant on the cruise roun the med .Highly recommend .

Room Tip: Rooms 414 and 415 look towards the beach and are quiet
