“French holiday in Majorca”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

We arrived at this hotel by accident as we were transferred from another Ola hotel, on arrival we had to wait for our room to be made ready even though the hotel knew we were arriving and what time from our previous hotel. We went to our room that we had been given that was supposed to have been a family room only to find there were 4 single beds lined up alongside each other in a room that probably should really on have 3 at the most. On arrival in the dining area we were greeted with " bonjour" rather than Spanish " ola " and proceeded to find a table for 4 people, the food was labelled in French and looked like it was a French restaurant with muscles still in shells cooked in some sort of sauce and squid rings in batter and courgettes stuffed with meat . We had chips and pork something and sat down to eat only to be surrounded by French voices all around so we finished and went for a walk before the evenings entertainment of karaoke !!!!!! yes in French . The evening started with someone who most of the French guests knew singing French songs while being recorded ( we suffered it back some nights later) and only speaking in French too . The entertainment was along a French line most nights, the only blessing really was the leader of the entertainment team (Max from belgium) was multi lingual and was great at trying to involve every nationality, his colleagues however were more biased towards there compatriots even asking me if I was French and then moving onto another couple when I said I wasn't so they could take part on stage in a game.
I would not recommend this hotel and my father in law has said he will not be going back to Spain at all after this experience.

Thank you for your review.
We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay at our hotel.
Our hotel is half english and half french.
Mussles still in shells cooked, squid rings in batter and courgettes stuffed with meat are Mallorcan specialities.

I stayed here for a week in June 2013 having booked a twin room for sole occupancy. The room in general was fine and just what I expected from a 3* hotel. The bathroom however was miniscule, just as well I'm a shower girl as bath wasn't much bigger than a shower tray. It was kept very clean and towels were changed as often as you wished. Can't really comment on the entertainment although the comments I heard from fellow residents made it clear going out of an evening was a wise move. Even though I was All Inclusive I never used the bar either apart from a couple of beers whilst reading by the pool so I can't comment on the service at night but I never saw queues.
The one thing that really spoiled my stay was the food The choice was very limited and somewhat repetitive. I'm not a fussy eater apart from not eating fish but most nights I would only find one choice I liked.
If you are planning to eat out and just want somewhere to lay your bones the hotel is good value for money but if you want to be entertained and eat well this is not the place for you.

Room Tip: Go for a lower floor, lift didn't always come

me and my partner stayed here from 8-15th july, on arrival we were given an upgrade free of charge however the room we were given although newly furbished was in the basement and had no balcony, so i asked if we could be given a room with a balcony which was no problem we were given a not as nice room on the top floor, which was fine however had ants everywhere. food was average, could always find something to eat, bar staff were polite and quick to serve. could never get a sunbed by pool so spent every day at beach, we were very dissapointed as entertainment was french based, for the money we paid we were expecting a very good 3* hotel but were very dissapointed and wont be staying here again.

Thank you for your opinion.
We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us.
We try our best to cater an international buffet for all our guests, we are sorry you didn't experience it this way.
An upgrade to a room with pool view is indeed a supplement of 5€ per day.
We do not dispose of a kettle or fridge in the room, this is why we don't advertise it on any website or brochure.
We are sorry we couldn't provide you with a late check out because the hotel was full.

We stayed in the Bermudas hotel after being overbooked at the sister hotel Panama, and were pleasantly surprised, the rooms were spacious, airy and very clean. It's the first hotel I've stayed in with restrictions on lilo's, rings etc in the pool which was very disappointing for the kids, and depending which lifeguard was on duty depended on how strict they were. There was plenty of entertainment day and night for both children and adults and the entertainment staff were excellent especially Aleandro and anya. My mum was the lady that fell on the steps and the staff were great with her although we found out later that the French and the new rep were mocking her when we weren't around, I'm not surprised at this as most of the French were pig ignorant while we were there, pushing and shoving kids out the way in the restaurant and generally moaning when they didn't get there own way. Apart from them we enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: It's an extra 5 euros a day to have a pool view, not sure it's worth it as these rooms were...

My mother and booked the holiday very last minute so we really were not bothered at what state the hotel was in as we just wanted to hit the beach, relax and get a good sun tan. When we arrived the reception was helpful and told us where our room was. The room was very clean and airy with a balcony that had a lovely view where you could almost make out the beach. There was no fridge, you had to pay for the safe and it was 6 euros a day for wifi which i found quite disappointing as i stayed in a one star hotel in Barcelona which had a fridge, free safe and free wifi, at night when we were taking showers the water just trickled out and it was either really hot or really cold but i had baths so it didn't bother us. Our room looked onto a noisy bar called banana joes which the music was very loud but we were lucky that the noise usually stopped at around 12 but this room wouldn't be suitable for a family with young children or an elderly couple. The food wad good, there was always something there that i liked and everything was well cooked though some staff there always looked really annoyed and not approachable at all which i found strange as all they needed to do was to clear the tables, they didn't need to serve us, if they just smiled it would maybe give off a better impression. We never used the pool area as its quite small and was always really busy. Lastly I've noticed from other reviews that a lot of people were complaining about the French, we didn't have any problems with them, found them very polite and we were treated equally, compared to other nationalities I've experienced in other hotels(Germans) they are not the worst.
Oh almost forgot, when i was in rhetorically dining area one night one of the entertainers pushed pass me without saying excuse me or sorry which i thought was very rude.
