“17 Lads (20-36) Does A Job And Not Too Expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

We stayed here recently for 4 nights 17 of us. We had no problems at all. The pool is decent but they do try to charge 2 euros per sunbed however if ou are decent lads and spend cash on drinks they are pretty relaxed on that if you are plonkers they will be a bit harsh. Just use the pool for what it is chill out and recover. Palmo Nova Beach is a 2min walk away if you wanta chilled out beach. Maggaluf Strip is 20min walk away but lots of bars to call at on the way plus several take aways on way home. The Sol Hotel over the road has a pool also that backs on to the beach and they are also welcoming if you behave. The rooms are all pretty spacious and most can fit at least 3 in. They vary but most have fridge and a hob and some had washing machines! Check out is 11am but we didnt get pressured and only rolled out around 1pm they will look after bags etc. during day. Food there isnt amazing has to be said so go out and explore around you best breakfasts seem to be from those on beach front. Lots of bars near by showing sport and also most if eating there offer free wifi so ask for code! If you arrive late evening you must buzz intercom and await someone let you in it took 15mins from buzzing to get 17 lads checked in so no time at all. If you ask near by you can book large minibus 8euros per head get you back to airport and if negotiate one at airport you can get him do whole minibus for 120 euros.
Air Con is 4euro per night
Safety deposit box 4 euro per night

Fourth time in Las Palomas but what an improvement. The reception has been renovated from a store cupboard, full of paint tins & mop buckets, into a bright, modern office. A new glass door and an intercom that puts you through to a delightful young lady called Promise, She was a pleasure to deal with & nothing was too much trouble. First morning there the kettle wasn't working, so I went to reception and pressed the button, she said she would bring me new kettle as soon as she could. She was at our door shortly after me. Superb service!

Room Tip: The higher floors have better view, over opposite buildings, of the sea.

Las Palomas is close to everything, is in a quiet area. Restaurants, bars, beach, busstop and taxi 100 meters from the hotel. Very nice and clean room with TV, AC, internet and washingmachine.
Very nice view to the beach and sea. The owner is very nice and helpful, He do the very best for have the stay pleasant. The concierge is very nice and helpful. Ask every day if we need something. If we need something, she helps in a few minutes.
Lot of hot water, very good beds, I relax very good at Las Palomas.
And the price is the best in Palma Nova. Very good value.
I will recomend this hotel. I will come back in my next holiday, be sure.

Room Tip: Very comfirtable rooms for a nice price.

Obviously being a 2* hotel and costing £200 each, can't really say much as you pay for what you get!
It was a very basic room which was expected, can't say it was very clean which is disappointing as no matter what price you pay it should always be clean.
I thought what in God's name have we come to when we went to get our key...from a man in a cupboard! Quite funny now I think about it.
There's a nice pool, but it's in the shade most of the time so it's not great for swimming in, we attempted it once but went to the beach most days.
It's in a good location, easy to walk into town. It's also in a great location to walk into Magaluf if you wish, which we did a few times. Banana Joe's is a great little club, I'd advise to visit there.
There is a nice restaurant underneath the hotel which is spotless and serves lovely food so that makes up for the hotel being quite dingy.
It's all you need to get your head down if you're not planning on spending much time in the hotel so if that's all you're after then I'd recommend.

Avoid this hotel. Pathetic. No reception area, just a green door to a broom cupboard. Had to wait 10mins each time wanted some service while the girl came to speak to us. Booked a double, got two single beds that were different heights! No hot water one day. Terribly uncomfy beds & no extra pillows even though requested. Poor excuse of a hotel.

I saw great improvement as compare with last year when i stayed there for some days. The rooms e.g the bath room and the kichen renovated, changing of receptionist and now have a reception and services 24 hours. recomented now for families and friends this time around.

Room Tip: rooms with sea view the best.
