Went with wife and 2 kids and inlaws, 9 in total. We had room M4 (1 bed apartment). Inlaws had 2 bed apartment. M4 was just behind the block which overlooked the pool. Our view from balcony was overlooking the garden with water feature. Was quiet apart from 1 night when we had some young swedish lads coming back 4 am ish and slamming door etc. Not a problem though as the management had clocked them and warned them the following morning. No further issues.
Rooms are spacious, plenty of wardrobe space, kitchen had micro, cooker, kettle, all utensils and cups, glasses etc. TV had about 12 channels free when we were there. Only watched it between 5 and 7 pm when getting ready to go out as eurosport had the athletics from Moscow on. Aircon in both livingroom and bedroom. It was between 32 and 37 degrees when we were there. Aircon very good, it got too cold on some nights and we knocked it off. One thing to consider if you are elderly or short like me (short) i had to stand on chair to knock it on and off. Bit dodgy at 2am when youve had a couple of san migels. You can get remotes from reception at a charge. The aircon unit is on the balcony and when on blows the hot air and you will dry any clothes in about half hour. Table and chairs on balcony but we did not use as too warm because of aircon unit. Plenty of plug points for charging ipods, phones etc. Bathroom had shower over bath and hair-dryer over WHB. Always got sunbed although hotel was full. Plenty of room on grassed area even if you did not get bed.
Not good for those who have walking difficulties as most rooms are up some steps. The ramp at the front of the hotel is really steep and you will have to hold onto the handrail to support yourself.
Pint at bar was 3.20 euro. Bit expensive when 3-5 min walk to Scandia Snackbar (left out of Hotel) was 1.25 euro. Lovley breakfast at Scandia at 4 euro ish. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby either left or right. Eroski Supermarket about 10 min walk has everything you need. Take a left out of hotel past the bus stop, carry on walking round the corner and then cross the road and you will see it by a sports bar and ONeils bar. If you walk more than 10 mins youve gone wrong.
Mcdonalds about 15 min walk by beach. Left out of hotel. Juanito bananas, Bens and prince william cracking bars. Best food was in Floridas, Kompas, Bens and the Happy Chinese on the beach. Also the Happy chinese had the coldest and best lager I had all two weeks. Watch out for the restaurant which is on the beach and has large oval glasses (cant remember name). Looks quite cheap for food but paid 4.40 euro for a luke warm pint of lager.
Beach 10 min walk either way and Magaluf 15min walk, turn right out of hotel then first right up the hill through traffic lights and follow the road into Magaluf. Waterpark brilliant. 108 Euros for family of four although you pay extra if you want dinghies at 12 and 8 euros for double or single.
All in all brilliant holiday, would go again.
