“very enjoyable stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

having just returned from palma nova yesterday oct 20/12,i would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at this hotel.Yes its cheap and cheerfull and you get what you pay for and i had no problem with that. The two girls on reception were more than helpful, friendly and made our stay enjoyable, christine the chef deserves a pat on the back for all her hard work doing the breakfasts in the morning.
The rooms yes they are basic but again not a problem, clean towels every day room cleaned every day what more do you want.
Pool area is on the small side but again not a big deal,ok if you have kids and you are there in july it could get busy.
The hotel does organize trips on coach tours, did not enjoy trip to inca market 17e each not worth it unless you like leather bags/shoes ect. This is not the fault of hotel it is booked through an agent.
If i was to make any recomendations yes a kettle in rooms would be good idea.
Once again thank you all very much we had a good time and would tell anybody that asks to use you hotel

Having just returned from garbada I am very disappointed despite all the good reviews. This is our third time to Palma nova. We are a youngish couple so we're normally happy with cheap and cheerful :)
The shower well.... that was pretty much useless no pressure at all and kept going hot and cold. I like a nice shower after a hot day.The beds were rock hard. No kettle or fridge in the room. At night there were people screaming at 4am and making loads of noise. Being 26 myself I'm up for a drink and laugh so definitely not a moaner but the noise was really bad think mainly due to a 24 hour bar.
The breakfasts are ok not much choice no drinks are included which is odd?
A cheap place which is ok if you are expecting the bare minimum. I think it was noisy as the walls are paper thin.
If you're after a pool too forget it.. This one is a hot tub size...
Check out the hotel intertur Hawaii.....

Travelled to this hotel on 30th September for a week. Hotel is basic but very clean. Staff extra helpful nothing to much bother. Our room was on the 3rd floor of the Gil block next door to the Gabarda and had 2 very comfy single beds. Our only problem was the lack of power in the shower!!! The problem was put down to hard water and guest demand!!!
Adele at reception was very nice and chris who cooks breakfasts was great. 3 choices at breakfast full English, continental and cereals and fruit. All cooked fresh and on the spot. Have to pay for drinks with the brekkie but not a problem.
Only a short walk to Palma nova front and the beach. Some great food available at good prices. Best food all week at pirates in magaluf. Best drinks and atmosphere at Bostons bar in magaluf. All in all an enjoyable budget week.
