“Great Lads Holiday Families Stay away”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

This hotel is an absolutely fantastic hotel for Lads and Lasses going away on holiday for a partying messy holiday. quite frankly don't be fooled by the lovely lobby because the hotel rooms are poor but who cares your only sleeping their right? because the rest of the time you'll be hitting the amazing 5 star strip of Magaluf which is what makes the hotel amazing the Location. its literally down some steps and your their from the room i stayed in you could see the strip and would be able to throw a stone to reach it. The rooms were small and uncomfortable and looked unsafe as their was a huge crack on our balcony doors. but not to worry you can hire a safe. If your looking for a family holiday don't go near because you will be kept up all night by people like me and my group of friends. But if your going for a drinking holiday its the perfect hotel they are great. if your getting food here unlucky because you'll end up spending money in McDonald's and subway but was okay to get us through the night. but it is extremely basic not very nice food. I highly recommend the MCP (magaluf club pass) and pirate show as they are fantastic and would highly recommend the bar crawl as you get vodka pored down your throat. All in all you'll have a great holiday!! but it is for Lads or Lasses so don't be fooled.

Room Tip: lower floors for drinkers all though theirs a lift its usually in use and stairs aren't fun at h...

I am currently studding hospitality and tourism in university and completed my work placement in this hotel in 2012 from 1 June until the 10th of October,Never stayed in the hotel or been to Magaluf and after reading the reviews i can safely say i was afraid to go. The way the hotel is painted on her would make it seem like hell, but the hotel really is great if u read the reviews there from older people i can understand why this would be a problem, the hotel is situated beside about 50 steps when You reach the bottom of the steps go right and you in Palma nova but go left and u r 3min walk from the strip of magaluf, the hotel is in a great location about 5 min away from each beach. The staff in the hotel are great to, very helpful and they is always someone there,in fairness the hotel is an escapades hotel so in june and july there are many british teenagers doing what magaluf is best knowing for...being drunk but staff deal with this as best they can,but in other months the guests are mixed in age race and nationality b .The food is not great but it can be eating and i can guarantee thats its made fresh every day, there is a wide range to choose from if ur a picky eater ther is a salad bar, chips, pizza and chicken, the kitchen staff is great the chefs are so friendly and will happily answer any questions, the waiting staff are lovely to christian, paola and sandra You are not allowed to take food out of the restaurant which is exceptable as you are only paying for half board. All reception, bar staff and cleaners are great 2, very trustworthy, the rooms are basic and some are small but what do u expect its only a 3 star hotel. what you pay for is what you get. neway have a great holiday if u have any questions ask away im so jelll :D

i would deeply advise you not to stay here! On the internet they say there is entertainment;free wifi and fun and games in the pool for children-there wasn't any at all. the rooms were tiny and crampt and the staff were no help at all. one night when i was there there was a fight in the corridor and blood everywhere in the reception and the lifts. as it is in magaluff there are quite a few accidents and partys in the corridors. if you need sleep i would advise you not to stay here as there is music playing all night. they also say it is a family hotel-it is anything but this...

hotel has no entertainment because it takes 1 min to reach magaluf strip, rooms plain but clean & tidy . food excellent with full choice so danger of getting fat and staff are very helpful. not for families really, as bars open til 6am and if you face strip it can be noisy all night... pool great. overall it is a good hotel

Room Tip: no rest in rooms facing the strip due to noise but at start and end of season much quieter. this is...

First impressions of the hotel were good, the reception area, bar and pool were clean and looked after - the restaurant (we were bed and breakfast) was very clean, well run, good food and had polite and helpful staff. However when we got to the room it was totally disappointing. The sliding doors were faulty, we opened them and couldn't close them again. The handyman forced them closed which meant we couldnt open them for the duration of our stay, waste of a balcony! The room was dirty, the bedding had cig burns in it, the room in general was desperately in need of refurbishment. The noise from 'the strip' kept us awake most of the night, the noise from people coming back to rooms after that meant we got very little sleep at all. One morning the maids were emptying a room just down from ours which had 5 bin bags full of empty cans and bottles. There was missing plaster from the walls where there had been a fight. I've been to Magaluf 3 times this year, once in a private flat, once at Belle Vue Vistanova and once at Martinique Apartments - all of which are budget - and Belle Vue Vistanova is the only one I would definitely not recommend to anyone if you want a family holiday or a rest. The only plus side is the location if you want drink, food or the beach.

First of all I would just like to say IT'S MAGALUF, WHAT DO PEOPLE EXPECT?!?!? Yes it's loud, yes it's full of teenagers.
There were 6 of us girls - all 18 - and we stayed for 2 weeks in july and we loved it. We arrived at 12 and were told we couldn't check in until 2 which was a bit annoying, especially after a long morning travelling and we didn't really want to leave our luggage in the storage room, as it is not locked. We sat in the reception area, had a few drinks and it was soon time to check in.
The rooms are small but have everything you need for a party holiday - the cleaners came in daily and gave us fresh towels, changed the beds and emptied the bin. I will say that if you're in a room of 3 people, i feel sorry for the one who's on the camp bed as they broke a lot and you ended up on the floor but it was all fun.
The balconies are very open and not private at all but this was great for making friends and getting chatting to people around you. It is very noisy from about 9pm until 12/1am, when people are pre-drinking in their rooms before they go out. You will also hear people slamming doors, shouting and running around laughing at all hours drunk but it's magaluf and the hotel is full of teenagers having fun so if you're staying with friends for a fun holiday, you'll be joining in with all this!
There is noise all through the night however we were drunk every night and slept through it all no problem :p
The food was nice although predictable, there were always chips for fussy eaters! The cooked breakfasts were lovely and we made the effort to drag ourselves out of bed for it every day (unlike most of the guests!),
The pool was small but there were always sunbeds available, especially around 10/11am as most people were still in bed!
Excellent location, less than a 5 minute walk/drunken stumble to the strip.
The TSC supermarket is also about 5 minutes away and very cheap to buy alcohol and snacks :)
About 10 minutes away from the beach which was lovely however we spent most days around the pool.
Overall, we absolutely loved this hotel and it was perfect for what we were looking for. There was a family with 2 young children arrived half way through our stay and i felt incredibly sorry for them, as due to the nature it is not child/family friendly.
If you're wanting a nice hotel for a teen holiday in the centre of magaluf, i highly recommend!

Room Tip: Definitely not a family friendly hotel due to the amount of young people/stag/hen parties and defini...
