First impressions of the hotel were good, the reception area, bar and pool were clean and looked after - the restaurant (we were bed and breakfast) was very clean, well run, good food and had polite and helpful staff. However when we got to the room it was totally disappointing. The sliding doors were faulty, we opened them and couldn't close them again. The handyman forced them closed which meant we couldnt open them for the duration of our stay, waste of a balcony! The room was dirty, the bedding had cig burns in it, the room in general was desperately in need of refurbishment. The noise from 'the strip' kept us awake most of the night, the noise from people coming back to rooms after that meant we got very little sleep at all. One morning the maids were emptying a room just down from ours which had 5 bin bags full of empty cans and bottles. There was missing plaster from the walls where there had been a fight. I've been to Magaluf 3 times this year, once in a private flat, once at Belle Vue Vistanova and once at Martinique Apartments - all of which are budget - and Belle Vue Vistanova is the only one I would definitely not recommend to anyone if you want a family holiday or a rest. The only plus side is the location if you want drink, food or the beach.

First of all I would just like to say IT'S MAGALUF, WHAT DO PEOPLE EXPECT?!?!? Yes it's loud, yes it's full of teenagers.
There were 6 of us girls - all 18 - and we stayed for 2 weeks in july and we loved it. We arrived at 12 and were told we couldn't check in until 2 which was a bit annoying, especially after a long morning travelling and we didn't really want to leave our luggage in the storage room, as it is not locked. We sat in the reception area, had a few drinks and it was soon time to check in.
The rooms are small but have everything you need for a party holiday - the cleaners came in daily and gave us fresh towels, changed the beds and emptied the bin. I will say that if you're in a room of 3 people, i feel sorry for the one who's on the camp bed as they broke a lot and you ended up on the floor but it was all fun.
The balconies are very open and not private at all but this was great for making friends and getting chatting to people around you. It is very noisy from about 9pm until 12/1am, when people are pre-drinking in their rooms before they go out. You will also hear people slamming doors, shouting and running around laughing at all hours drunk but it's magaluf and the hotel is full of teenagers having fun so if you're staying with friends for a fun holiday, you'll be joining in with all this!
There is noise all through the night however we were drunk every night and slept through it all no problem :p
The food was nice although predictable, there were always chips for fussy eaters! The cooked breakfasts were lovely and we made the effort to drag ourselves out of bed for it every day (unlike most of the guests!),
The pool was small but there were always sunbeds available, especially around 10/11am as most people were still in bed!
Excellent location, less than a 5 minute walk/drunken stumble to the strip.
The TSC supermarket is also about 5 minutes away and very cheap to buy alcohol and snacks :)
About 10 minutes away from the beach which was lovely however we spent most days around the pool.
Overall, we absolutely loved this hotel and it was perfect for what we were looking for. There was a family with 2 young children arrived half way through our stay and i felt incredibly sorry for them, as due to the nature it is not child/family friendly.
If you're wanting a nice hotel for a teen holiday in the centre of magaluf, i highly recommend!

stayed 7 days in the vista nova .the hotel was in a great location near all the bars beach shops etc,the food was good i never ate a bad meal there pool was small but you could easy get a sunbed ,we ad a top floor room with a view over palma nova ,i never heard any noise but ppl on lower floor said they did ,the wellington bar outside the hotel serves ice cold beer ,what i must say about noise complaints is your in magaluf its partyland lol ,i would go back to this hotel no problem

After reading a few reviews, this hotel didn't seem as bad as it sounded, so we booked it for 12 nights, half board.... 12 nights of almost NO sleep!!

On arrival, the hotel looks very nice, clean, well mannered staff and friendly, booked us in, but we had to guess where our room was. The room itself was ok, twin room, very clean. The booking said 'sea view'... well if you looked over the balcony at 5 floors up to the right, you can see Palma Nova beach and to the left, the 'Magaluf strip'. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room (we bought a kettle after 2 days), the safe is not included either, you have to pay for it.

Day time noise was not too bad (between 2pm and 5pm), the night time noise was horrendous from the strip, a nightclub open from 11pm till 6am every night!!! There were people coming into the hotel at all hours, slamming doors, shouting, laughing and banging about. So when you finally get some sleep, you’re woken up by the cleaning staff banging doors, dragging furniture about to make beds, which on a tiled floor makes a horrible screeching noise, dragging tables and chairs outside to clean them and the floor. The cleaning staff were always very friendly and seemed to clean our room no matter what time we left, which was nice.

As we stayed half board, we thought we’d save money on breakfast/evening meal, but as we hardly ever saw morning for breakfast due to lack of sleep, we only got breakfast once, which was really nice. We had a few evening meals, nothing to shout about really, not much choice you could actually put together as a meal apart from salad. The really annoying part was having to pay for a drink, they did not offer any tea/coffee, you had a choice of water, coke, lager or wine and it wasn’t cheap either. The waiter was lovely though, always running around making sure everyone was happy, always with a smile on his face.

We had most of our meals at The Blue Bar, which is just next to the path to Palma Nova beach, the food was great and so were the staff. We had breakfast at the Wellington which is just a minute walk from the hotel front door, very nice too and lovely staff.

We had a great holiday apart from the noise, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re expecting to get any sleep, unless you wear earplugs, but then that doesn’t drown out the noise inside the hotel.
