“Lads holiday - Did the job”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

So me and 13 lads stayed at this hotel in July for a week for a lads holiday. We didn't want to stay in a horrible hotel/apartment so decided to try this place out and it was a great choice. We paid around £600 each for the flights and a weeks stay at the hotel (all inclusive) which we thought was pretty reasonable. The rooms were quite nice and they stayed clean due to the maids coming every day. Unlike some places we had nothing stolen from us in the hotel and out on the strip which was a bonus. Everyday they had a different theme for the food which was nice, personally I had the soup to start every night however one night the soup had no flavour at all. You can also go into the restaurant area anytime in the day and they will have basic food out like burgers, chips, spaghetti, etc. (which was perfect for us lads because obviously we weren't waking up too early due to many rough heads). You will hardly ever get a sunbed unless you get up early to reserve one. Very busy round the pool area.

Palmanova beach was only a 3 minute walk down the hill and shops the same. Magaluf beach however was a bit further away and took around 7-10 mins away walking distance. The strip was only a 5 minute walk which was convenient, however I would advise people to be aware of your surroundings when walking home at night as there are a few dodgy people lingering around but as long as your not on your own you should be fine. I would recommend to the young ladies and gentlemen to go to carwash, bananas, Tokio Joes (all decent clubs)- only go BCM if you really
like the act that's on.

Some people on other reviews say that the hotel is at the top of a steep hill-its not steep at all and you would only struggle if you were disabled or really old, and I can't imagine that target market going anyway because it is Magaluf at the end of the day.

The only problems/complaints that I have about the hotel was that our door to our room would open withoout a key. All it needed was a firm push and the door would open. We noticed this on the second day when a friend from another room came to wake us up - he banged on
the door pretty hard and it sprung open. I did report this to reception, however nothing was done to my knowledge ( they said they were going to send somebody to check it out, whether they did or not I am not sure). Also I think it would be better if the safes in the room were electronic as it
was a bit worrying to be looking after the safe key. Apart from these small problems which didn't matter at all to be honest, the hotel was brilliant. I would recommend anyone to go, however
if you are going on a lads/girls holiday and want a hotel with young people in, unfortunately this is not the place. But that could be a good thing if you want it to be a bit quieter. Its definitely a family hotel however it was a lovely hotel to stay in.

We arrived on the 21st October 2014 family of 4.... Loved it. The hotel room was in need of a little decorating but still very good. The reception area, pools and restaurant were exceptionally clean. The rooms and bed were tidied daily and all staff were exceptionally friendly. Went all inclusive and could not fault the food and drink such a large variety to choose from. Bit of a hill climb from the beach to the hotel but only 4-5 minutes away. The 3 pools cater for every age and the one at the bottom for children included several small water slides. There was also a small 5 aside football area which was very handy with 2 boys in tow! Would highly reccomend this hotel could not really fault it for a family holiday would certainly go back again.

I was so impressed with this hotel starting first with the Reception staff Ana who checked us in was so friendly, fast and couldn't do enough for you. All Reception were fantastic never been to such a fantastic hotel friendly, clean and good food. The Hotel Manager was so friendly and approachable he mixed so well. The only thing is the rooms are need of modernisation very dated but clean, our cleaner was so lovely too. Could not fault this hotel and will be back definitely wouldn't hesitate. Entertainment staff especially Marco was so pleasant he made our holiday and the entertainment was fab even though we were on the last week of closing down. The beach and sea were 5 mins walk down the hill which wasn't as bad as people made out my Mom was 79 and she coped ok. Only thing was had to pay for wifi which wasn't great. All in all my kids had great time aged 10 and 4 they keep wanting to come back now lol.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view/sea view room higher the better because of the stage outside!

We have just returned from our stay at this great hotel from 25th Oct-1st Nov. this is the 2nd time we have been to this hotel at this time of year and once again it was brilliant! Me my husband an 2 sons aged 16 and 14 had a great time an met up with the Cornwells we met here last year we also met more lovely new families and want to return next year. Loads at the hotel for the kids to do. All staff are lovely Marco is brilliant with the kids an great fun. The weather was gorgeus every day and the food always good at the hotel. No rushing out for sun beds or queuing for food etc maybe different in July/August but that's why we choose to go this time of year. Roll on next year so we can go back!!

Just arrived back from hotel Marina Torrenova yesterday the last day of the season for them.

The hotel was fantastic with lovely staff who where very friendly and helpful especially with my 1 year old and 5 year old sons. Rooms are basic and clean with a good sized bathroom with large bath perfect for little ones as it was the last week on the season we got a free room upgrade to a pool view as did most guest that arrived around the same time as us. The hotel is in a great location too but up a hill close to both Palma Novas beautiful beach and the beach at Magaluf which is down a really steep hill. With shops and bars only a short walk away both sides of the hotel although most had closed for the season for our trip.

The facilities at the hotel where great with a small games room and basic soft play area for the kids inside and the 3 pools, 2 play parks and small football pitch outside my boys loved it. The 2 kids pools where great and clean but the jets on the slides in the splash pool are a bit harsh for littler kids so my boys weren't that keen on them and due to being an October holiday the water was cold and took you a while to get used to.

The hotel entertainment team where also fab and friendly with a full programme on during the day and night and where wonderful with my oldest son who is deaf and visually impaired encouraging him to join in, they even let my 1 year old join in the games when he was awake lol.

Only down side from the hotel was the food something I was really looking forward to after reading amazing reviews praising the quality and quantity of choice even from the week before we went. We didn't get this bar our arrival day when we where welcomed with sangria and tapas which was Devine. Unfortunately the rest of the week was made up of repeated meals and very little choice, each day another counter was taken away if you like pork, beef, white fish, cold custard and jelly then you where fine., meatballs we're seen a lot as was a fajita mix which appeared 3 times in 6 days... We didn't have any themed nights although there occasionally seemed to be an attempt made with this we don't feel we get value for money with the food at all even if it was end of season. But we did manage to eat and it hasn't put us off possibly returning next year if the price represents the last week of season value.

Unfortunately we can't say the same for the Thomas Cook side of our holiday. The TC entertainment team who we saw twice the whole week - once as they walked passed us ignoring our children as they tried to sell tickets to their chargeable Halloween party and then the day after clearing out their kids club room instead of doing the planned chocolate party which was for our last night, and they we're not at the club room even when their signs said they would be. The TC rep got quite argumentative when we met her to discuss our issues with value for money for our holiday not really listening to what we where saying and then informed us that she was finishing after seeing us for the season 2 days before her guests actually left...

All in all though we loved are stay this last week at the hotel it was interesting watching them and other hotels shut up for winter and would highly recommend a trip here at this time of year for a peaceful family holiday in the sun just don't expect high season services and a good range of food and wifi is not free in the hotel. We have already started looking at coming back next year as the hotel is worth the trip!,

We have just returned from a family holiday here which was myself my partner and our 2 children 9&3 and we all had a great time. The staff can not do enough to help and they all work so hard and never seem to stop still. The rooms are cleaned everyday and there is more then enough room. The hill back from the beach would be an issue for people with mobility issues but i managed it a few times in the week at 6 months pregnant and i saw plenty of elderly people doing it too so it isnt as bad as some people make out.
Id recommend this hotel to anyone who has children its more of a family hotel then a singles or just couples but i did see plenty of them their too.
