“Great Hotel for all ages!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

We stayed at this hotel from the 15/09/13 to the 22/09/13 and I find it very hard to fault the hotel on any level. The hotel is large and is of a good standard. It is very clean and the staff have smiles on their faces even though they have to work very hard when the hotel was as full as it was on our visit. The food available is of an excellent standard and if you cant find anything to eat at this hotel you never will. I loved the breakfast most of all !. we had no real issues with sunbeds at our stay here but it could be different in high season. The entertainment team worked hard but to be honest at times it did not click but that could be they were tired after a long season?. The only issue we had was getting a table outside to watch the shows which was mission impossible many night's. I would say that if the price is right then give it a go! I would not return unless I got a cracking deal, but we often will try new places.

Room Tip: There is a small hill so people with issues walking might want to consider this.

We stayed for one week from 16th September. Quick check in. Room slightly on the smll side with a cot in and at first was slightly disappointed not having a pool view however it turned out with a 20 month old this was ideal as we could hear none of the noise from the entertainment below in the hotel. Food was easily one of the best all inclusives I've been to. Proper sausages for breakfast, freshly cooked eggs, and every other breakfast option you could dream off. Plenty to choose from in the evening, only complaint was there was too much I liked! Particularly the giant profiterole tower we had one night. All the staff very friendly. In door soft play, lovely parks, three gorgeous swimming pools. You do get the usual idiots that reserve the sun beds at 8 in the morn but there were still plenty to go around. There was one group on a stag but the hotel was so big they never bothered us. Lovely and clean. It was on a hill but never bothered us with a push chair and everything was so close you never had to walk that far. Would definitely visit again.

Room Tip: If you want sun on your balcony chose a pool view. If you want piece and quiet accept the road view.

This hotel was perfect for our family holiday. We stayed for a week with our children (aged 2 + 5) and they absolutely loved it! The kids pools are excellent. One has water slides and both were shallow enough for them to play in without us having to worry about them not being able to touch the bottom. There are kids clubs running all day at the hotel for children aged 3+. My son didn't go to them (only because he was having too much fun in the pools) but we saw lots of kids having fun in them when we walked past. The food in the hotel was excellent. Plenty of choice and very good quality. The breakfast was particularly good. Easily the best all inclusive buffet we have had in a long time. The only complaint I have about the food was that during the daytime if you wanted a snack you had to get dressed and go into the restaurant, it would have been nice to just have something to eat whilst relaxing by the pool. Also, you could only get free ice lollies and you had to pay for ice cream. Over a week we spent a lot of money on ice cream for the kids and I think this should have been part of the all inclusive. The evening entertainment was very good and aimed at families with a mini disco + bingo every night followed by the main act. During our stay they had a magician, comedian, reptile show + bird show. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the entertainment team were great with the kids! The hotel is in a great location in between Palma Nova and Magaluf. Its just a 5 min walk to either resort. Before we went we saw that a lot of people were complaining on here about the 'massive' hill that you have to climb to get to the hotel. It really isn't that bad at all. We had a buggy (and usually lots of bags!) and we had no trouble. I would say avoid it if you have walking difficulties though. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to book a family holiday. Great value for money, plenty for the kids to do and friendly staff. 10/10!

Room Tip: If possible ask for a pool facing room. They are sunny all afternoon

This is the second time my partner and I have visited this hotel and yes, the staff are still as lovely and the hotel spotless and food excellent. The hotel sits up a small hill (not too much of a problem) but its location is excellent as it is two minutes down the hill to the beach front and all the bars, restaurants and shops.

It is all inclusive but I believe you can also go half board but the selection and quality of food is definitely above average and staff look after any requests you may have. There is a vegetarian buffet section in dining room and always have pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets etc if this is what your child likes.

The rooms are spacious and have very adequate storage and wardrobe space and are cleaned every day and clean towels available if you leave towels you wish changed in bath.

The hotel offers entertainment but does cater a lot for children in the evenings so more adult entertainment would be my only wish. There are some shows on for adults later in the evenings some nights and what we saw was very good.

I went with my partner and he was reluctant to come home so he was well pleased with what was on offer and we took ourselves down to bars at bottom or road a few times. Ruby Tuesday's and Mr Pickwick's bars cater for all ages with tribute acts like Michael Buble, Beatles, Neil Diamond and had a good laugh at drag artist - Sassy and noticed some of the Tamala Mowtown groups and Tina Turner tribute acts on along the road so it is all there for you. We did not eat out a lot as we were AI but there were more restaurants around than you could ever get through - difficult to even get round all your favourites.

All in all - Palma Nova a lovely resort - hotel excellent. Magalluf great for an afternoon's shopping and plenty of entertainment there if you want to dance the night away.

We went on local bus to visit Palma, Andratx Market, Palma city, Santa Ponsa, Paquera and these places were all easily accessible by local transport and around 3 euros each way.

Room Tip: Excellent value here and good position for accessing other resorts or merely going round the town on...

my husband and myself stayed here from 15th-22nd September . The staff are wonderful and very hard working . Ana on reception was especially lovely ,as it was a late 50th birthday holiday for my husband and our 25th anniversary a cake was presented to my husband at dinner and a bottle of champagne was left in our room.the food was lovely and so much to choose from.even though your are not far from Magaluf there wasn't a lot of noise, we had the best holiday and will be definitely be returning a again.

Good hotel if you have kids, it has faculties to suit all ages! 2 parks that sit just by the pools, 1 for 3 plus right up and another for little ones under a shelter from sun , football / basketball court right behind them. 3 pools one for little one suitable for under 3 and over but it's got lots slides and dragons in water and a bucket that fills up tips water out . Amazing for entertaining them. Middle pool a little deeper waist depth on average adult height. And large Poole with lots of daily activities that the staff do really good been twice going again. Food good plenty choice. Soft play area inside kids clubs for younger and separate one for older. 5 mins downhill to beach and plenty shops restaurants and bars. Rooms spotless with TV it has cbeebies! Lovely foye area . Entertainment programme every night.

My partner and myself stayed here from 10th to 17th September. Have to say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in on a holiday, check in was fast and efficient, we were in our room on the 4th floor in minutes, we had a view over the front of the hotel, some trees and a small corner of beach and sea view, apparently on the higher levels the view is much better but we were more than happy as the pool view rooms can be noisier. We took the bags upstairs and came down for our afternoon meal,it was late, almost time for food to finish, and the food to be honest was not the best at that time( please read on though). We unpacked and went for a late afternoon drink at the pool, very impressed, the bar was good and the staff excellent, there was no limit to your drinks, we were thirsty , and there were plenty of seats available (tho as in previous reviews,no sunbeds, lol) . we came down for our evening meal, the food was very good with loads of choices and a chef serving a meal of the day which usually suited us, roast beef, roast pork, chicken, steak, paella just being some of these. I am lucky,I can eat anything anytime anywhere, whereas my partner is a little more choosy, but even she had a good choice every meal time. Veggies seem to be catered for which I didnt expect. Have to say the breakfasts were especially good, two choices of bacon ( recommend the fresh cooked one by the chef),sausage, eggs ( scrambled, boiled or fried),hash browns, mushrooms, beans and grilled tomatoes, onion rings, mmmmm not sure about that lol. Loads of fruit, ham cheese so if your boat is continental you could cruise on that.
The staff at this hotel are truly amazing, all the way from the reception( i managed to lose my key card but it was no problem at all), bar staff, cleaners, everyone deserves praise. The rooms are very clean, the corridors are sparkling. My single criticism is the entertainment but I admit to being hard to please. On our last night the entertainment for the kids was especially good and everyone enjoyed the night.

I have to say the walk down to the beach is not as bad as some have said, we are both overweight and unfit but managed to get down there at least once a day, sometimes managing an evening stroll too. Palma Nova is not far, loads of bars and restaurants along the way, we had a lovely cup of coffeee at Blau Mari over by the marina most days. If you are younger and want the nightlife, Magaluf is just round the corner the other way but we declined, tho we did pop there in the daytime to se what was about. Beer prices very good locally, lots of bars showing football etc but we wanted to see the motorcycle racing (motogp),on the Sunday and the Prince William came up trumps.
We both came away with great memories of our stay here, a hard act to follow in every way.
Excellent hotel
