we have been to the palma nova palace for the last 3 years but i doubt we shall go again we are a party of 12 couples whom meet up every year.. The hotel ran out of food by eight pm so if you did'nt get to the dining room very early you had nothing to eat ..... rooms were clean enough ,staff lovely and i shall miss going there but the hotel was overtaken by Bulgarians and they liked to eat a lot, thus leaving the rest of us on small rations..rooms had things taken from them , safes aswell
so make sure you keep a record of what is in your safe and keep it updated as you go along.

Room Tip: rooms near the church have problems with a smell of sewage so if you enter a room and it smells odd...

We have been there at the same time every year for the last 4/5 years and find the entertainment has gone rapidly down hill. The entertainers must be the ones the other hotels reject. Having said that the food and room service was a high standard with friendly waiters. We always went out after dinner and found good entertainment elsewhere (The Stadium is worth a visit) Apart from the inhouse entertainment the Palace is a very pleasant place to have a short break being close to the beach and just a short walk to Magaluf with an extra bonus of no screaming children as they don't allow under 16's.

Myself and my husband have just returned from a week at this Hotel and our first meeting with the hotel receptionist and the accomodation she gave us was not a great experience.
After travelling all day and arriving at the hotel tired she gave us a room which must have been the worst room in the hotel. It faced a fire escape, with no view of anything else and as we were just opening the door to enter a maid ran into the room with towels and pillows so obviously this room had not been used for a while. This was room 114.We did not even unpack and went straight back to reception only to be told that the hotel was full. When I complained she said I could speak to someone at 11 o clock so we waited. We were then given a much nicer room but no apology or explanation. This hotel has a very nice pool area, very good food and rooms are cleaned every day.Entertainment is not very interesting and walls of bedrooms are very thin so every sound from your neighbour can be heard.

Room Tip: stay away from room 114 as it faces the fire escape and your balcony is of no use. Also it poses a...

old fashioned rooms and decor. food was just edible if you are not too fussy. Drinks were poor quality. Staff okay but did not do much to help you or make your stay a good experience.
Would not recommend or go back.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
Brochure (Thomas Cook) makes this hotel sound good, but I can guarantee it is not.Very disappointing holiday.

Room Tip: dont book one

Went with my mum from the 4th to 11th of may. The majority of staff were lovely, very helpful and approachable. They always greeted us with smiles and hellos ( or should I say holas). The food was ally good, ample choice and excellent quality. Rooms cleaned very efficiently on a daily basis. The location is excellent, just a five minute walk from the beach and shops. It is also very close to a miniature golf course which is great fun.

Dispute requests not to reserve sun beds, this was done on a daily basis which made it difficult to obtain one. We also found the entertainment to be geared for the older crowd and was not for us. However those that joined in seemed to enjoy it, however the entertainers didn't pester us to join in when we declined which was nice.

This hotel is more suited for the older clientele.

myself and five friends returned to the palace as a base for our golf week , we were here the same week last year and we were not dissapointed..i was slightly suprised to see other people who were also at the palace last year back again...but i am not realy suprised because it is very very good.....for the money your paying the food is the best around ...then there is the staff ..they are the most hardworking and helpful folk you could wish to meet ..the whole hotel is kept spotless and the rooms are visited by the maid every day...the bar staff are also great and will make you a cocktail on your ai..if you realy want to know about this hotel just look at the number of repeat customers..it speaks for itself..and i will definatley be going back again this year and bringing my partner...as for the report of a theft from a room..i stayed from the 4th to the 11th of may and there was 1 theft report.. which couldent happen if the people had got themselfs a SAFE ( simples) go and enjoy it remember its over 18s only so no crying kiddies (bless em)

Room Tip: they are all good but for a view you need 4 and upwards

We booked this hotel as it was described in the brochure as 'disabled friendly' and one of our party is wheelchair bound, although the location is fabulous as it is on the flat and near to the resort the hotel itself does not in any way shape or form cater for wheelchair users, the ramp to get up into the hotel is like climbing a mountain for a start, you cannot get a wheelchair into the bathroom, the 2 lifts are extremely small, there is no disabled toilet in the pool area and you cannot get a wheelchair into any of the toilets in the public areas. Communication with reception staff is non existent as I had emailed them twice previous to travelling and they did not reply at all.
The hotel is very tired looking and due a major refurbishment I cannot understand how it has got it is classed as a 4 star hotel it certainly is more a 3 star. The pool area is very small and shaded a lot of the time so you spend time moving sunbeds around chasing the sun. Entertainment throughout the day and night is very poor and unprofessional. On the plus side the hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly, the food is good plenty of variety and always fresh and hot.
