I have visited this hotel many times and cant get bored, its a fantastic holiday its in a brilliant location 2 minutes from bars and shops and the beach is a short 5 minute walk away,

For the hotel its self its clean, friendly staff and good quality food, even if you are a fussy eater theres allways something there.

The entertainment in the evening is like everywhere you go unless you go to a 5* hotel, there is the kids disco then bingo and the evening show, all the reps work really hard. Also if you dont like to stay in you can go out and drinks are quite cheap.

A few downsides are little things like the lifts they can take a while. and are like a ride in a themepark when your in them.

also a tip choose a low floor a lot quieter at nights than the higher ones, as all the lively groups are high up . and children and elderly usually stick to low floor so its a lot more quieter at night ....hope this helps

Room Tip: low floors a lot quieter

Stayed in September 2011.

Food was good with plenty of choice. The rooms were clean but nothing special. Only a short walk from the beach and Palma Nova - heads up go out the hotel and turn left head down the steps and accross the park area and you will come on to the street which if you follow it brings you out on the corner of palma nova (near banana joes) accross from the beach. Taxis into Magaluf cost us 5 euros ish depending on where you wanted to go you could walk but it took about 15/20 minutes again depending on where you wanted to be.

The hotels pool was nice but always very crowded but the pool itself was pretty strange as it was very deep apart from in one corner, the day time entertainment was pretty poor and the night time wasnt much better. All the staff were friendly and helpful we arranged to go to pirates through our rep who was lovely and it was a brilliant trip if you havent been you need to go and see it - its amazing!

i stayed here for 7 nights in the middle of july 2010 with my boyfriend. The room was basic but adequate and had everything you needed. The staff were really friendly when i asked if we could switch rooms. The floor we was on was full of teenages letting off steam which is understandable. But they were really noisy and the walls in the rooms were very thin so i asked if we could move and they said yes. The man on reception gave me an alternate room there and then with no extra charge which was very helpful. The hotel was very close to the beach, shops bars etc which was handy. The only downside was that coming back to the hotel from the beach you had to walk up a rather long path to the front of the hotel. it would of been nice if you could enter the hotel through the back near the pool. The food was alot nicer than expected with alot of variety. I enjoyed sampling something new every night with the option to play it safe with "simple" food aswell. There was a great selection of desserts aswell. We never stayed in the hotel at night so i cant really comment, but the little i did see seemed quite lively and fun. We never used the pool either as the beach was so close, and i didnt fancy getting up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sun lounger. Again though what i saw of the pool area sempt clean and comfortable. There was plenty for kids to do inside the hotel, such as a mini arcade, pool table that kind of thing. Overall we payed £400 each on the holiday including flights for a week in july. And for that money the hotel was alot better than expected. If i was to go to palma nova again, i would be more than happy to stay here.

We stayed at the Mimosa Park for a week, overall we enjoyed our stay, food was excellent, always plenty of choice and hot! Pool area was lovley and hotel is in a great location. Didnt stay in the hotel on a night time so cant comment on evening entertainment but staff were friendly and helpful... I would reccomend Mimosa Park for Hen/stag holidays. We really enjoyed ours and it was cheap:)

Stayed here late February to early March 2000

Great hotel - rooms, food (very good self-service choices for breakfast and dinner) and good access by bus into Palma and around the immediate area. The only slight difficulty (for older people) is that the hotel is on a bit of a hill. Look out if you're going on the public buses - they do get very full - you might find that to allow more people on, some passengers have to get off then back on again. This happened to us on one occasion when we went as far as Santa Ponsa by bus from Palma Nova. Great place - lots of affluent people living at Santa Ponsa - lots of mansions to be seen there!

While we were on holiday we took an excursion to Valldemossa - then single track train to Soller, stopping at Puerto de Soller for lunch. Great trip! One thing to remember- you need woollies on that trip, it's chilly in the mountains!

Enjoy your trip! Venicefan, Swansea, UK

I stayed here for a week in July with my partner and daughter. As soon as we got to the hotel I was let down by how dated it was but didn't let that bother me after all we were only staying half board and were only using it as a base to sleep good job really as it wasn't a place I wanted to stay for long periods of time with my daughter it was more an 18-30s hotel than for families. Rooms were very basic and out dated and the bathroom very dirty I even had to get in the shower with my flip flops on! Food was ok but a bit mis matched but it is only three star so I expected that. Never really sat around the pool as it was always too busy with younger groups who seemed to be on a party holiday. If your wanting a same sex party holiday then go, if you can get a cheap deal then go but dont be fooled in to paying £1600 like we did because it's just not worth it! Saying that if we'd of got it for £1000 max I wouldn't even be writing this now you get what you pay for and I should of thought about that before booking
