“Good food and beautiful views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Friendly staff. Nice views over the bay from outdoor dining area. Good food and very varied. Complimentary newspapers at breakfast was a nice touch. Very good location. Indoor swimming pool was surpisingly little used. The outdoor pool area was a bit small. Dining room and aoutdoor patio area to be upgraded this winter.Would happily return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Originally had a small twin facing the playpark but noise at night from nearby bars.Moved to room 6...

Sol cal blanca excelled itself once again.
Manager Sebastian Dander and his staff especially two receptionists Karhryn and Pepi very helpful and friendly.
The outside area is vastly improved and more refurbishment is taking place this winter.
Hotel is located so near the beach and ideal for visiting Palma which is a magical city, this was our fifth visit and looking forward to returning next year to this superb hotel. We met some lovely people.
Best wishes John and Pauline from Bournemouth.

My friend and I stayed at the beginning of October for a couple of nights for a girlie break.
The hotel reception is very impressive and modern. We arrived fairly early as we had an early flight, and we expected to have to leave our cases in reception. Luckily they had a room ready for us. It was a beautiful room, very clean and spacious with fabulous views. Despite being next to the lifts we never heard a noise.
Food was good, though perhaps a bit limited in choice. Smallish dining room with lovely sea views, or you could sit at tables outside by candlelight.
Reception staff were ever helpful, and the waiters were all charming and professional.
Easy to wander from Palma Nova through to Magaluf, or you could get the bus to Palma for shopping or sightseeing.

Just got back from my second stay at the Sol Cala Blance. I stayed there 2 years ago with a group of mates, and we decided on the same venue again. No problems. Hotel has had some money spent on it since the last we were and is due to have some of the other areas renovated during the Winter. Hard to find fault with the hotel for the price. A quick word of warning about the 'black girls' in Magaluf. They prowl the streets looking for drunk and incapable tourists to rob. They pretend to be h00kers then rob the victims while pretending to 'chat them up'. Don't let this put you off the hotel. Magaluf is 20 minutes walk away, and I would recommend Palma Nova as a great place to stay - ideal for families, and 'older' travellers.

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel, and my comments are the same..............great hotel............lovely friendly staff...........good choice of food for breakfast & evening meals, a very comfortable hotel. Most people we spoke to at the hotel had stayed there before so I think that says it all !!!. Looking forward to next year.

So pleased we found this hotel.researched before I left and all looked good. But as it was the end of the seaon not sure what to expect. What a gem,Hotel Spotless,Rooms large and quiet even at the front and super views.Large single beds.Great bath towels not usually seen in Spain.
hotel staff just couldnt do enough, breakfast well cooked and plenty of selection. evening meals whilst lacking in presentation always offered a super selection.
We spent 4 nights and enjoyed great weather, swimming in the sea, temperatures around 24 deg.Great location and would certainly go again. Not in season as Im sure could be really busy.
Beach towels could be rented for E10 a week and refunded at the end.
The beach really is lovely and the sea so clean to swim in.Of course lots of bars closed but plenty to do at nights still.

Room Tip: Dont worry about paying extra for a sea room we were on floor 3 at the front of the hotel and the ba...
