This hotel is perfect if you just want to relax and aren't expecting the earth. The spa and gardens are well worth it and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

The beach at the hotel is small but the main beaches are no more than a five minute walk away. The area is very quiet but that may be because its early in the season.

Breakfast on the terrace each morning overlooking the bay was great, we didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

The rooms are in need of reburbishing but only because they are outdated, our room was clean and comfortable which was all we needed seeing as we spent most of the time on the beach, in the gardens or in the spa.

We were unfortunate ro stay her in tired and unfriendly place that may, 25 years ago have passed te test.
From the moment you enter you feel you have arrived Germany, wot vocally and attitude.
Thankfully the long walk to the tiny pool is too far for anyone to bother to rush down and secure bed bor the day tat they normally do not ever bother to return to to use.
The attitude at reception is totally vacant and te rooms are out of date, bad air condition, if indeed it even works.
#the decoration is totally uninteresting and it must make Europe look terrible to experienced travelers
Thw trpical airport dining room, id terrible ,and one day it was so so busy .I decided to plate some food... take it to my room...I was literally chased by the head waiter till he CAUGHT me !!! and tried to levey a charge for waring out of te area...
It is just a terrible place, and the internet does not operate except in the hall (if your lucky)
Parking facilities are terrible with clampers in operation.Trust me ,stay clear of this dump, nad if you want to have a tasteful experience try te Bon Sol, ot the Punta Negra close by.
This is not a four srat property and the management are one star.
Apparantly the management is not interested in Trip Adviser but time will tell.

Just back from this hotel. Stayed for a week. Rooms very clean but are a bit dated. This did not affect our stay though. Staff were very helpful and freindly. Pool area small but plenty of space in gardens surrounding pool and lots of trees that provide shade. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. Had body massage and facial in the spa and it was fantastic. Great small beach bar beside hotel...Bambu Fish, which does all day breakfasts and all types of sandwiches, rolls, dinners etc. Make sure you visit the marina, Peurto Portals. Great restaurants, specially Wellies and Lollo Rosso and great for people watching..Would definitley stay in this hotel again.

First time - 5 night weekend break with my girl mate in July '06

Second time - 7 night holiday with my boyfriend in July '07

PROS:

Beach - a stretch (albeit small) of sand in this area of Majorca is quite rare - although you have to climb down a few rusty steps to get into the very rocky bottomed sea - wear flip flops at ALL times!

Location -
Walking distance to Palmanova - great if you want a nice meal at a fab restaurant called Seymours
5-10 minute taxi ride into fabulous Puerto Portals - a meal at Tristan's is a must

Value for money

Great base for a weekend with my girl mate

Breakfast - good variety with a nice terrace to sit and eat

The beach bar - Bambu Fish is a god send - the owners, Penny & her husband and the waitress, Kerry, are so friendly and offer good English grub without making you feel like a complete tourist!

The beach girls - throughout the day tanned & toned girls parade up and down the beach selling sarongs/sundresses etc - not your usual tacky stuff (though there are a few dodgy numbers) - I think they wear the thong bikini bottoms to keep the guys entertained!

Beach/Pool towels provided

CONS:

Rooms - functional! when I'm on holiday with my boyfriend I tend to spend a little more time in my room when I'm with him ;-) that being the case I probably shouldn't notice the decor is a little dated!

Pool bar - not much variety food wise

Pool area/gardens - in peak season there is not much space or enough sun loungers to accommodate - hence hotel guests spill onto the beach will I believe is open to the public as well

No frills - no complimentary cold towels, iced drinks or water sprays are handed out
