“Stay in palma nova instead!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

Firstly i dont normally moan im always fine with everythin aslong as ive got a bed and its cleanish.. but ill never stay at this one again. The bar staff were n*bs, we had our own beer round our sun loungers to keep it cheap through the day they moaned at that none stop. The foods terrible and i normally eat anythin, theres kfc and that opposite though so make sure u go bed&breakfast if you miss it theres cheap places over the rd for full english. Also if i go back 2 maga again ill stay in palma nova which is only 5mins away from the strip, i knew it was goin 2 be loud but after uve been there half a week u need your sleep, fair enough ppl loud till 6, but ppl screamin and bangin on ur door till gone 8 got on my t*ts! But the worst thing ever!!... the promoters!! we normally come back about 7 in the afternoon for a quick sleep before we get onit again, and every single night they're knockin on and disturb you askin wot ur doin 2nite and tryin 2 sell u things!! Everybody had that problem though and every1 was the same with it. (quick tip fill your bog brush holder thing with water and throw it on them, thats one less to disturb u for the rest of ur hol). But overall maga was brilliant would deffo go back but sumwhere away from the noise so u can sleep better and get away from the PR'S! BCM is class by the way if DJ Sammys there pay the price 2 c him

We were a bit doughtful of using this hotel be cause it is so close to the nightlife. we actually got in touch by email and explained we were an elderly couple (lol). we were contacted Manuel who explained that there no quiet rooms but he would place us overlooking the pool. and to complain if there was any disturbance. Well we were very lucky it was very quiet but the rooms were very warm so we bought a small fan tto use.
Right I expect you are wondering about the title. well we went down to breakfast one morning and the air condtioning came on and a rather large orange cockroach came flying out and landed on my wifes head. She jumped up and cuffed it off her head and screamed when it landed on the table waiters came from everywhere and dealt with it making us move tables. Well that was the only bad thing that happened. the entertainment was not that good. The food was OK the pool surround was nice, we used the bar called Legends run by Sharon. the the Oak run by Ken. we shall be using this hotel again. May it was quite because went Sept 5th and we stayed 3 weeks. goodluck to all who go there dont forget it what you make it.

Room Tip: try and overlook the pool

Arrived at 2 am got to reception & told full up Lads u gota go somewhere else Altjough wed booked 8 months previously.!!! Anyway they sent us by Taxi to Magaluf Park Hotel which was great then they had the cheek after 3 days to say we had to come back to the Samos. Told them to stick it & after some prolonged argument they allowed us to stay in the Magaluf Park. So not a bad Hol in the end as we ended up in a far better Hotel. Beware Parmanova the quieter resort lots of Old Mods from the 60s have swopped their Lambrettas 4 Mobility Scooters nearly had me & my Pals a couple of times !! So at the end of the day had a good time

Room Tip: rooms are spacios and immaculate Cleaners are Brill

A good hotel, i was there way back September 2012 for 5 nights break in time for a friend's 60th birthday celebration. The hotel were very welcoming , pleasant and helpful. Although the decor is dated in the room where i occupied the reception area is quite modern. the buffet breakfast and dinner is great. Hotel overall is clean and good location to other restaurants if you would like to eat outside. They even let me have my breakfast early in the dining room before it opens as my flight for the day i checked out was quite early.

We went half board food was brilliant very clean hotel staff are very helpful but playing music is not allowed after 11pm! Security come up and tell you to turn it off. We never had much sleep here but its a girls holiday we never expected any sleep! Would love to go back some time soon.

A group of 4 of us stayed at Hotel Samos for a total of 7nights. Upon arrival the hotel from the outside look promising. But as soon as we got inside we found the reception area large, clean and modern. Checkin was great, staff were extremely helpful, we book two double rooms, but were told that they had only allocated one room, they apologised and offered us an upgrade to two Family Sized rooms which were great. Rooms were just what you expect from a 3star hotel, plain furniture but clean and a great size. Pool area is excellent, with drinks very cheap from the Pool side bar, makes a great plac to relax and unwind during the day and evening. Entertain takes place each evening in the form of Quizzes, Bingo and Dancing, myself and my friend are all 24, and I have to say it was a tad bit boring at times, but when the Sangra (€7 a jug) gets following everyone soon joins in with the fun. Location is perfect, only 5mins walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.

My advise is if you want to avoid all the Hen & Stag riff raff and noisey clubbers, try to go towards the end of the season, October time, we had 29 degrees most days and its really pleasant.

Thank you Hotel Samos for a great stay.

I stayed at Hotel Samos in early September for 4 days with 7 girlfriends, upon arrival hotel looked smart an modern, good location to. Checked in after a night flight from manchester and must say staff were not as expected in previous reviews, very unfriendly as we arrived early, they stated room would not be ready and wait 'wherever' basically could not care less,no where for cases etc.....
Balcony door would not lock, went down to let them know and they were not interested.
Maid service fantastic,reception staff miserable.
