The hotel is very clean and tidy. We stayed half board and found the food to be excellent. There was a good selection, well above expectation, no complaints what so ever. The rooms were more than adequate, we were on the fourth floor. Surprisingly though we could not hear any noise from the strip unless we went onto he balcony and listened for it. We could see the hoards heading to and from the clubs but nothing to complain about. Air con machine in the room was coin operated but I couldn't get it to work. Five floors up there was a nice breeze anyway. The bathroom was immaculate. The hotel is literally two minutes from the beach. For alternative eating, turn left along the beach until you get to the pier where the the fun boat departs. You will find a cafe that does good simple cheap food. They also do buy two Magners and get one free. I am 50 years of age, very picky when it comes to holiday destinations and I do not know why I came to Magaluf. I am so pleased we did and we will certainly be back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Go high.Away from the noise on the street.

My worst experience ever!! I agree with everyone that the hotel has a nice swimming pool, great location bla bla.... However, there is no air-condition in the rooms! If you're on the 1st floor, you're done! I had 4 nights no sleeping!!! It was full of British and Dutch tourist that came to Magalluf only to drink and get drunk nothing else!! Well, this is what Magalluf is for! You cannot blame them!!! I was there for a badminton tournament and yes we really suffered! The rooms are clean!!! Nice view yes!!! Food: good if you like junk food such as chips and hamburger, but I ate only salad (not very well washed, i found some bugs in it) for 5 days.. The reception was helpful, somehow, but some waiters were rude with us and they started yelling at me when I asked them why they did not serve the breakfast earlier (we had an agreement with the Federation and Hotel, but Hotel did not serve breakfast earlier for the players) Briefly, if you wanna drink, eat very cheap and want your vacation include only sun-alcohol-dance, then it's a best place!!! But never never go there if you're on a business trip!!!!

Room Tip: After 6th 7th floor!! never first floor!

Dear Guest,First and foremost, may we thank you for taking some of your valuable time to write this review regarding your recent stay in our hotel Sol Trinidad. We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied and apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are indeed a ‘beach resort’ hotel as opposed to city center and therefore appeal greatly as you so rightly say, to guests who come to relax and enjoy the wide range of attractions in and around Magalluf. We do value all our guests’ opinions as it is through this information that we can improve the service and installations we offer.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a week recently. Overall the hotel is a great place to stay. Its in a great location close to the beach and the strip, and the hotel has entertainment each night, and the hotel bar can be quite lively. The hotel is very clean and the maids visit rooms every day if required. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed half board and the food was of good quality and there was a variety of choices. There is some noise at night from bars nearby, but if you are looking for a quiet holiday you shouldn't be going to Magaluf! The only negatives are that the rooms dont have a fridge, and the poolside bar is a bit pricey, but the shops and bars nearby are reasonably priced. I would definitely come back to this hotel again and would recommend it to others.

Stayed for 3 Nights 27/04-30/04 Check-in was a bit slow but no real problem, deposit taken for a key to a safe, the room was on the 3rd floor. Reception area was clean & modern looking, lifts were small and working. I noticed a couple of times one of the lifts were stuck and the automatic doors to the reception from the street were inoperative, but both seemed to have been sorted out very quickly on the day. The hotel is in an excellent location very close to the beach and not too far from the nightlife (although far enough away so that noise wasn’t an issue, although there were noisy people coming back late at night but this is Magaluff), I had booked half board and the price was very reasonable, food was of a good standard. In the morning for breakfast you could have Full English, Continental, Fresh Fruit, Cereals, toast, juice and coffee. In the evening various hot meals (some cooked to order fish, meat etc) cold meats, salads, fresh fruit and desserts, as for drinks there is a small bar open in the restaurant where you can buy drinks or have waiter/waitress service. The staff are very good at clearing the tables and I found them OK and not surly. I did not drink in the hotel, so cannot say what the prices are. The room was clean as was the bathroom apart from the ceiling coming down slightly in the corner over the shower, but again no real problem. For me the bed was hard, I don’t mind sleeping on firm bed but this was too hard. Rooms and bathroom were kept clean and tidy by the staff.

Stayed at the Sol Trinidad August last year and was very impressed. I have stayed in other hotels in Magaluf and they dont even come close. I went with my friend, my mum and her friend as a girlie holiday of 4. Ages between 18-47.

Arrived about 3pm, which was late as we had a problem with our shuttle transfer and the reception staff were quick and efficient. Which was convenient after our mixup at the airport. Maybe not too on the happy side but I didnt have to deal with them till check out after our 2 week stay so wasn't fussed. Only hired a safe, didnt bother with any other services on hire, hairdryer/kettle etc.
The rooms are basic but very clean with your standard double bed and tv with limited channels but again, I don't go on holiday to watch tv so it was never used. No air-con, just a ceiling fan but that worked just as fine. Bathrooms are again basic but clean. Rooms are cleaned evey day and bed linen is changed often and you can chose to have fresh towels every day by leaving them out for the maids to collect. Also bearing in mind (particularly in high season) it is a central hotel, very close to amenities and BCM a 5 min walk away, it can be quite noisy at night/early hours of the morning.
The pool area is quite small and has limited sunbeds so it is a good idea to get up at a decent time in the morning, I was up at 9am getting a sunbed but its not necessary to be up quite as early as that. Entertainment is on throughout the day with a different selection of sports and games that include darts/water aerobics/archery/shooting/waterpolo etc. So there is something for everyone. Pool Bar prices can be expensive but I only tended to use it at night for a couple of "pre-bevving" drinks before heading out. Just purchased litre bottles of water from the Spar across the road every morning. Evening entertainment was good with quizzes and caberet shows, however, not too sure if this is available during low-season.
I was there on half-board basis so I recieved my breakfast and evening meal. There is a wide choice of foods in the buffet style restaurant. A vegetarian section, salad bar, different selection of meats, basic pasta's and chips etc and basic selection of puddings. Breakfast consists of your toast, cereals, croissants, fried foods and unlimited use of the drinks machine (morning only). Maybe not essential for fussy eaters. Only downside is, in the evening, you normally have to get up and queue for your drinks and pay for them. Waiting staff do occasionally come to your table but they can be so busy clearing tables I found it easier just to get my own. Was approximately 1 euro 60 for a bottle of water but my friend and I just shared a bottle.

Also, for any young people going with friends DO NOT go on the pub crawls. PRs come to your room door and scam you into paying 35 euros on something you can do on your own. I was not interested in participating in the sex/drinking games which seemed the only way to get drunk for free, despite what your ticket states (free shots, free drinks, NOT TRUE).
Alexander Bar across the road from the hotel was great, normally was the first stop of the night and the staff are lovely. Also Panam Jacks was a bar that was visited quite frequently.

I am glad to be going back this August and would reccomend any party of people who were looking to have fun. Would not reccomend to anyone who was looking for complete tranquility and relaxation but that sometimes can be hard to find in Magaluf. Palma Nova which is the next resort is a bit quieter but still close to Magalufs amenities. Hope this review helps in some way.

Room Tip: We had a room that was on the block that you can see the balconys as you enter the buildings (room 1...
