“Feel Good Factor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2012

We had high hopes for this hotel........We were not disappointed!! This hotel is situated ideally for everything to make your holiday pleasurable. Close to restaurants of which are plenty, close to the beach and shops all within walking distance. This was our first holiday without kids and it was absolutely great! There was something for everyone (whatever your age!). There was a very laid back feeling to the whole holiday, you were made to feel welcome as soon as you arrived. We were self catering but we could have eaten in the hotel at a small supplement but we enjoyed the restaurants and the attentive waiters/waitresses. There were 2 pools with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas (no having to get up at the crack of dawn to bag one!) poolside snack bar. The animation team did their best but I think quality over quantity would have been better and maybe a bit more entertainment for the adults. The maid service was excellent as was the cleanliness of the hotel. (no bugs in sight!) We had a ground floor apartment over looking the second pool with the poolside bar. Will defo be going back!!

Room Tip: We feel the best rooms where in Es Sivinar block 2 both sides have a pool views

I returned yesterday from Sa Marina after a week with my parents and my four year old son. It really was one of the best holidays I've had. The Sa Marina felt like a four star hotel, looked pretty, great staff, very clean, smart interior and exterior with services you'd expect from a high quality hotel. I don't remember seeing anything that looked like it had past it's best or needed replacing.
The location was fantastic, 5mins to the beautiful Cala Gran beach, 1min to the shops and restaurants and two land trains which give you a good feel for where you are on the island. If we weren't with a small child we would have walked to find other places the small bays are close together and the marina and Cala Esmeralda are worth visiting. Not so sure about Cala Egos though, looked more cheap and cheerful.
The childrens entertainment at the Sa Marina was fab, the mini club is twice a day for 1&1/2 hours, little ones get to make something and play games in the mini club area and suddenly there's peace and quiet at the pool! There's a stage, bar and music throughout the day. Not loud just background music but if you prefer it quieter the other pool by reception has none of this so might be for you.
The room was great. Spacious twin room, bathroom with twin basins and spacious lounge/kitchenette with two sofas/beds dining table and basic kitchen appliances.
Saving the beat till last, the food. so much variety, fresh, tasty and in a brilliantly staffed restaurant. food to suit all nationalities at the hotel. UK, Dutch, German and even Spanish. My Dad likes his English food and wasn't dissapointed but it was far from just that, there really was something for everyone.
All in all a fabulous place which we would like to visit again, we highly recommend it!

This place is brill. Just as good as all the other reviews say. We were self catering and had just what we needed as we only had breakfast and lunch in the room (toast, bread, ham, cheese etc) and always went out for our evening meal as loads of great places to eat! One of our favourites was Gusto's - lovely food and excellent friendly service. We will defo be going back next year.

Room Tip: Go to Gusto's for an evening meal - lovely place and great food.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2012

My family of four stayed here in August 2011 on the second week of our 'two-stay' holiday. The Hotel is immaculate and cleaned to the highest level. Rooms are ok, to be honest you cannot differentiate a 'three star room' to a four star or to a five star. The ratings of hotels in Spain do not account for the standard of accomodation i.e a guest's bedroom/bathroom, and I think that is a big problem with hotels in Spain. Our room overlooked the car park that you walk past when going out to eat in the evening, and we unfortunately had our own alarm clock, in the form of a mechanical road sweeper at 7am each morning going through!
The towels in the bathroom were, if I remember correctly ex 'oasis fiesta aprthotel' from Magaluf!!! Not good enough when you save up hard-earned good money all Year to stay here!
'Kitchen' area is tiny and is if anything, a bit of a gimmick to qualify itself as being fit for Self catering. If you are planning on eating in the Apartment, then unless you are used to cooking on a North Sea fishing trawler, you will struggle! We found it difficult just to make a few sarnie's at Lunch!(which incidently is probably as expensive to buy from the supermarket, as it is to go and eat out somewhere!)
The pool is lovely and of a decent size, however, when we were there, we suffered the most horrendous smell of sewage between the bar and the steps to the pool, although i'm sure that will have been sorted by now.
Sunbeds are the twisty plastic uncomfortable type that drive you mad, that is, if you can set your alarm at 06:30 and go down and bag a few!!! Yes, i'm afraid so! Although it is frowned upon by the management , it happens!
It's winning asset is it's location, close to the shops and restaurants of the lovely, family orientated resort of Cala D'or. I enjoyed my weeks relax with my family, but I dont think the place is good enough to warrant a return.

Room Tip: Request a Pool view!

Stayed at this hotel for a week, Cannot fault anything from the towels to the food. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't of made you feel more welcome. The entertainment team came and chatted to us on the evenings we watched the shows which was nice. The Hotel is immaculate and saw staff regularly cleaning. The food was very tasty and varied. We stayed half board and the service from the waiters was fantastic. Both the pool areas are lovely with the fountains which we did not find a problem with noise, made it more pleasing to sit around in the evening. Will be going back either later in the year or next year. The rooms are well equipped and spacious and would recommend this hotel highly.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the poolsides would be excellent to stay in

First time staying at this hotel and would happily go back. Stayed here end of May start of June. Worth every bit of the money. Pool areas are fantastic. Two big, clean pools, with fountains (Which I personally liked). Everywhere is clean and cleaners are always cleaning something somewhere. Rooms were spotless, spacious, nice balcony. Everything you need is in the room (Hairdryer, kettle, TV etc). Maids seemed to clean 6 days a week, and always brought fresh towels.
Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. First time I've experienced such a welcome attitude from every staff member I've come across. The location is great. Only a 5 minute walk to the main centre where all the restaurants and shops are. Two big supermarkets within a 5 minute walk also. Stayed self catering so cannot comment on the food. Also went to the indoor pool which although small, was still nice and clean with beds all around it. Was worth a dip during the 1 day of rain we got.
Literally cannot say 1 bad word about the place, area or anything. Costs quite a bit to go there for 2 weeks, but it is worth every penny. Can see why this is an undisputed number 1. I would also recommend Inturotel itself. Went to The Cala Azul Park last year which is only 2nd to this for me. The chain seems to set the standard across it's hotels, and even left a bottle of wine and welcome back note in the room, which was also a nice touch.

Stayed there for a week the last week in May. Was a lovely hotel, very clean -in fact immaculate. However the room we were given initially was facing a tree and a car park - not the nicest view in the world. After complaining was told they would try and move us as quick as possible. We did eventually move on the 3rd day and found ourselves facing the pool. Much nicer however the sound of the fountains which other people have commented about was a problem for us too. I wish there had been a sound button! The food was excellent (we were staying Half Board) with prompt waiting staff. Our only bug bear the whole holiday was we requested a microwave the first day (you pay for this) and by the last day, we were still waiting. I was travelling with my baby (our first holiday with him) who needed things sterilised so it was essential to me. However all they kept saying was that there were all being used. We couldnt not understand this as we saw plenty of people leave so where did the microwaves go? Maybe they should be standard in rooms since obviously there was a high demand for them?

Room Tip: Request a pool room in block 1 (where reception is) and also pre-book a microwave if you require it.
