I returned yesterday from The Marina Corfu and although the hotel was in one of the finest positions of any hotel I have stayed in, it is easy to see why the hotel only has three stars. The hotel swimming pools are lovely, but the sunbed situation is very poor. The chairs are chained up until 9.00am but from 6.30am guests are taking plastic chairs from wherever they can find them and claiming a spot to put a sunbed on later. The problem is not that there is a shortage of sunbeds, but a lack of space to place them. It is possible to pay 5 euros for a sunbed on the beach and this really is worth it. The food at the hotels in general is really poor canteen style food, but having said that lunchtime meals/snacks from the pool bar were very good.We took the 15-20 minute walk to the restaurants around the Marina most evenings which were all excellent and no more expensive than the restaurants local to the hotel. The rooms were fine if maybe a little dated and the bathrooms were of a good size The hotel was kept extremely clean and the majority of the staff were extremely kind & helpful. The evening entertainment was a little naff, but we have been used to cruise ship entertainment, so maybe we hoped for to much. All in all I would return to this hotel but not on an all inclusive basis.

Room Tip: Ask for a room above reception level overlooking the pool and the beach.

Just home from a week at the Marina Corfu. We had a fantastic time. The Hotel is very clean and the staff are very hardworking especially in the Restaurant. Rooms cleaned every day and also with a towel change. We had a room on the 5th floor overlooking the sea/swimming pool it was fantastic. The food was a bit repetitive but lovely you will always find something you like. Very disappointed with the cocktails which just tasted like water. The entertainment was good especially the Beatles Tribute Band, brilliant. We met some lovely people and had a great time. We would recommend this hotel for definite and would return again in the future.

Room Tip: I emailed the hotel before arrival to request a seaview room, the hotel reservation team responded v...

After travelling all day with two small children we were relieved to arrive at the Corfu Marina, and I must admit I thought reception staff were joking when they said we did not have a room and had to be put up at a hotel over the road! Reception staff did not explain very well how this could have happened blaming the tour operator, a number of people were in the same situation, I thought that was shocking!
Once we were allocated a room it was clean with a stunning view (paid for sea view) but the four of us were cramped in quite a small room. Sounds of the entertainment meant that our children were up late every night though we did enjoy the shows and bingo most nights.
Our kids loved the pools and little beach, preferring the smaller upstairs pool which was less busy. The food was ok lots to choose from and all inclusive drinks, ice-creams etc from friendly bar staff helped give us a good experience. The location is beautiful.
I don't think I would return based on our check-in experience and I think the rooms were a liitle cramped and in peak times hotel just seemed too busy!

Room Tip: Higher rooms are less noisy though there is no escaping night time noise!

After looking on here for days i decided to book the Marina Corfu for me ,my husband and my mum and two kids, We arrvied to a quick check in and went straight to the pool, there was no sunbeds left at this time 12pm,thats is the only problem i had with this hotel there is not enough room for the amount of people staying, unless you want to go on the terrace area but this would have been very boring for the kids, the days after im afraid we had to join in with the 8am reserving. Other than that i can not fault it, the food is better than some 4* and 5* Hotels i have stayed in, rooms are very clean, the whole hotel is spotless, the bars and shops are close by, the entertainment was good, we had a really nice time, I would not stay here if i was just on holiday with my husband as it is a family hotel with lots of children running around, but there was a few couples there who enjoyed it.

We were there in June 2013 (me, my husband and little daughter) and it was wonderfull. The only minus was the repetitive food besides the good quality. The bedrooms were quite good and extremely clean. In fact, all the areas were very clean and in my opinion this a very important point. The location and landscape are fantastic over the sea with many swimming pools for older and for kids. I strongly recommend this hotel for family or couples vacations. Very Good!

Room Tip: The swimming pool and sea side rooms have a obvious better view. However, they are not so quite at n...

We were disappointed on arrival as the hotel had been over booked and a number of guests us included were put up at a hotel over the road for the first night. Having said this it was very professionally dealt with and we were promised a good room the next day. The next morning we were given a very clean comfortable room overlooking the sea and pool. The best view.

From here on we had a lovely holiday. Food was good always something we liked. The staff were very friendly. Bar staff and restaurant staff were extremely hard working and friendly.

Entertainment was mixed but a walk round the shops or around the marina was very pleasant.

My only criticism was the saving of sun beds and parasols. Not enough parasols to go round. People were putting chairs with towels on at night for the next morning. This should be policed better and all towels taken off when sun beds released. My other complaint was the wi fi.
It was 15 euros and I could only get a signal between 6-9 am. I was told this was probably due to too many people using it.

A lovely hotel very clean. Good food. Great position. Easy transport walking, taxi, train and bus easily available.

Sea view/pool view a must. We would definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view on 3rd floor or higher
