We visited this restaurant at the beginning of November. Unfortunately the restaurant was closing the next day which had a significant impact on our experience. The restaurant building is lovely and in the summer the grounds would be spectacular. The menu looked wonderful and we opted for the tasting menu. However, there was no rose wine at all, only 1 choice of white wine and the children's menu was incredibly limited - despite the fact that we had checked the day before that they were happy to accept our booking for 4 adults and 4 children. The starter and main courses were wonderful, but they did not have the dessert from the tasting menu which was not explained to us when we ordered. What we did have was lovely but we felt a little let down that so much was unavailable. However, I can see that in the main season this restaurant would be wonderful and good value considering the quality of food.
