“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

This is a fabulous small hotel with an excellent restaurant. The French owners are keen to give the best possible service. We ate outside in a beautiful courtyard garden every morning and had an evening meal which was of an excellent standard. I could not give higher praise.

“Superb food. Beautifully presented.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

We only intended to go one night, but it was so good we went back a second time. Gourmet dining prepared by a father and son team, served by the very elegant and knowledgeable lady of the house. Haute cuisine. We loved it.

“Very special”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2012

This is a very special restaurant and is well worth a visit if you have a celebration but is pricey. The food is some of the best i have ever tasted, and is beautifully served. The tables are in a very pretty court yard at the back. Definitely for those who love god food (i am told it is frequented by the king of spain when he visits!)

“Just as good as we remebered it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2011

We last visited Ses Rotges back in 2003 when we stayed there for a week during which time, we treated ourselves and dined there a couple of times. This October, whilst staying on the other side of the island, we made the one hour journey across the island, to dine there once again, and we weren't disappointed.

We made the booking via their web site before starting our holiday. As before, we were greeted by the very elegant, Madame Tétard who showed us to the courtyard dining area and offered us a choice of table beneath palm trees. The only change that we noticed from our last visit was that the vegetation in the courtyard had grown considerably. Sitting under the stars and palm tree fans, we enjoyed a relaxed and tranquil setting with mostly German diners.

Madame was as charming as ever as we chatted about our last visit and showed her the picture of us that she had taken eight years previous. The food was absolutely amazing, as before, with a varied selection of set menus, separate dishes and chef's recommendations. Their wine cellar holds a good selection of wines for most pockets.

This was the most expensive meal we had on the island, but it was, by far, the best. Ses Rotges is perfect for that 'special occaision' and worth the journey, if you are anywhere on the north of Mallorca
