“Excellent for what you paid for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

Went to this hotel for a wee break with my friend & we had an excellent time. We weren't expecting much for the small price we paid & also according to the reviews - but it was excellent. There was more than enough that suited us to eat every evening - of course there were some things that weren't too appetising but we couldn't be pleased all of the time. The rooms were spotless & air conditioning & shower excellent (wish I could have taken the shower home with me, water pressure was amazing). The staff were all lovely & so helpful & although the pool area did get a bit crowded, you're so close to the beach I don't know why anyone would want to sit by the pool anyway. If you're not too fussy about food and just want to chill out, this is the place for you.

hotel was clean that was about the best bit. The staff were very rude and unhelpful. Our room was a self catering apartment even though we were all inclusive which was a good point because we were a family of four. The food wasn't that great either we ate out every day ,the entertainment was not that good unless u like bingo and a music quiz every day except a thursday when there's nothing. The kids were bored and hated it .The last night there was water pouring through a light in the main bar due to someone showering in the room above. I will warn you when u have to check out your wrist bands are cut off, not good if you have an evening pick up so from the time of checking out and wristband cut off food and drink must be paid for ,never known this in any all inclusive hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the hotel in June and had a fab time. Staff all seemed very friendly and Naomi on reception was an absolute diamond helping me out with my transfers.

We were happy with the room, and DELIGHTED with the air condissioning. Nice balcony area.

Food was great, always a selection to choose from.

Would definitely come again

Read mainly bad reviews on this hotel but tried to ignore them and focus on positive ones. Big mistake. Don't know how this hotel can be classed as 3*, as it comes nothing close to any other 3* hotel. Food is terrible, wouldn't recommend taking young children as nothing at all for them to eat, every night is chips and a pork or Fish dish Which made me sick in bed for 2 nights. Practically lived on chips for a week. Didnt arrive until early hours Tuesday and when checking out Monday you had to pay to keep your room from 12 in the afternoon until you leave, also 10 euro each to keep all inclusive. There were leaks in the restaurant, in the bar, and in bedrooms. Mould covering the ceilings, around the bath sink area etc and floors. Furniture falling apart. One couple at the hotel described the place as 'Survival of the Fittest' only entertainment is bingo at 9:30pm every night. Only perks of this hotel would be the beach is a 2 minute walk. I think this hotel would be better of knocked down. Staff are rude, bar service is long, rooms aren't cleaned properly. Worst holiday I have ever been on in my life. Visiting Palmanova in August which was a 3* hotel shows exactly what a SLUM this hotel is. Never ever again in my life would I visit this place again. Absolutely disgusting.

Our hotel has the category of 3* spending a few controls and expiring with each of the requirements needed by the legislation. The railing of the balconies meet height measures required by the regulations.
All our food is prepared with good quality and comes in fresh every morning. Our chef prepares a variety of weekly menus, we serve a different menu every day with lots of variety and abundance to please all tastes, and we consider that it is all well cooked and very good quality.
The All Inclusive service ends on departure day at 12 am. We provide a shower room (free of charge) for all our guests that have late departures.
Our staff is available to the client to attend, to help and inform at any
We have every day entertainment for children and for adults.
We have a daily cleaning service, except Wednesday and Sunday.
We apologize on behalf of the hotel if you did not enjoy your holidays.
Kind regards,
Hotel Don Jaime

We only paid £150 for this hotel which included flights, transfer and all the 'food' and drink that you could possibly consume. We stayed at the end of the season so the town was fairly quiet. However, the hotel's entertainment is recommended for young people because it included a 'music quiz' with all the latest releases. Considering the average age of other hotel guests was 60 years old, we managed to win the quiz on numerous nights with a first prize consisting of a bottle of champagne... in an all inclusive hotel?!?!! As for the food (if you can call it food) the hotel offered chips, pasta, soup, chips, fish, soup, pigs trotters, chips, soup and pasta. EAT OUT and just take advantage of the free alcohol which was San Miguel on tap. If you're looking for just a room to sleep in and not to lounge around stay here! Hotel staff are friendly enough.

We stayed at this hotel 7 September, I hated it ! The food was horrid ! Our room 505 was a joke it was dirty, the bathroom was a disgrace, the toilet would not flush and the so called second bedroom was buit onto what was once the balcony, you could hear ever movement next door as the walls were that thin. Don't stay here you will regret it!! Lots of other guests were also complaining not that it got them very far as each room they were moved to was worse than the one before.

Room Tip: Don't accept room 505 its a disgrace !!!!

Made the mistake of reading reviews for this hotel the week before we went and i was so ready to cancel, so glad i didnt as we had a lovely time. No complaints at all. Room spotless and comfortable. Staff all very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble. Food was great different choices every day and always piping hot which on a buffet must be hard. All inclusive great value so what you have to have plastic glasses surely that is better than broken glass around the pool for children to cut thereselves on. Entertainment young lady was always trying her best to encourage people to join in with activities and a lot of people didnt want to join in but it was there if you wanted. For what we paid for our week we had a great time and will definately be returning hopefully next year so glad i didnt listen to reviews and cancel. If you want five star pay five star prices.
