Great place, we had a very relaxing few days here. The hosts are friendly and will look after you extremely well. Breakfasts were excellent, the accommodation was spacious and tasteful, fantastic pool and great views. Highly recommended for a relaxing sun soaked break. Thanks Marion and Rudi - hope to see you again!

This beautiful B & B is situated a short drive outside Mijas pueblo. We took a taxi from the bus stop in Mijas which was straight forward. On arrival we were welcomed by the owners Ruud & Marion who served us drinks and tapas in the beautiful gardens over looking the magnificent scenery - gorgeous! Ruud & Marion have been living here for 2 years and have an extensive knowledge of the area and are happy to give advice on where to go, where to eat etc.
We were then taken to our room - Balcon Mediterraneo - which was decorated and styled to a very high standard. Massive bathroom with bath and walk in power shower was a welcome sight after a day travelling from Gibraltar!! We also had the most amazing views over the countryside from our massive balcony!
We went into Mijas pueblo for dinner which was lovely then returned to the Finca where we had the most comfortable sleep with no road traffic noise - just the sounds of the countryside!
The only downside to our trip is that we weren't able to stay longer - we fell in love with Finca Valtocado and hope to return for a longer break soon!

Marion and Ruud are incredibly welcoming hosts and the setting and surroundings are so picturesque - it makes a stay at Finca Valtocado perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Everything we wanted and more than we expected, superb location in the hills behind Mijas with great views of the coast. Simple but beautiful rooms, extremely comfortable and quiet. Very friendly service and company from our hosts who recommended some fabulous restaurants for us to eat in and also let us drink their brandy.
