Me and my friend visited Fuengirola on Monday 16th July for a day out (we were living 15 mins away) and after reading reviews we were both adamant we weren't going to visit the waterpark as we read it was expensive, small and had long waits. However, we couldn't find what we were looking for so decided to go. We arrived about 2pm where we paid full adult prices (both 17) which was €23 - we weren't told if we'd waited half an hour we would've only have been charged half price for a half day. A bit expensive but we went in anyway. We got changed, paid our €5 deposit and €3.50 for a deposit box - which you can't grudge for €3.50. We also paid an extra €2 for a basket to put our clothes/bags in. After we sorted everything out we finally headed out to the park. We didn't have a clue how we queued for the rides as I'd read you had to queue for a rubber ring also. We asked a lifeguard and he told us we had to rent a ring from the place we got our deposit box. So we went back to the man at the deposit box and he told us we didn't need to rent one on a Monday as there would have been plenty around the park at the rides. So we went back and headed for the 'lazy river' we were confused as to what way to go in and what we did for the ring. My friend politely said 'excuse me' to a passing lifeguard who shook his head and said 'no time' which I found rather rude. Anyway, we finally got in to a ride, which we didn't wait 3 minutes for after queuing! The whole day was great, we absolutely loved it. No queues, we were on a ride and straight back on another. The park is small but it means you don't need to walk very far. There's two little areas for kids too. We seen an offer that was half price if you went two days so we decided to go back the next day and spend a whole day for only €11.50! The next day we literally spent the whole day, from 10am til 5:30pm and had a great time. The price for food is not expensive at all either, which I thought would be. We went in to the restaurant and it only cost us €2 odd for a hot dog. Drinks are quite expensive compared to food though. Would definitely recommend this place, don't do what we did and listen to rubbish reviews!!
