This restaurant is a cracker in amongst a number of other restaurants in the same area. Suitable for both big and small groups the atmosphere inside is terrific.
We arrived at around 7pm on a Saturday so had a bit of a wait for a table but the waiters gave us all a complimentary appertif as they recognised our wait. Booking doesn't appear to be possible at busy periods as to keep tables empty for people would hurt the business and also upset the queue.
The menu choice is excellent - a full range of meats, fish, pizzas, pastas & rice dishes - all looking fantastic as they came out of the open kitchen next to the tables. Pizza's are freshly prepared and cooked in the wood fire oven outside the front of the restaurant.
Prices are very reasonable for both food and wine. We had chilli prawns to start which were excellent, followed by leg of lamb and Sea Bass. The portions were huge so we shared a dessert. Again the choice of desserts is phenomenal.
I would throughly recommend a visit to this restaurant and we will definitely be going back later in the year.
