Following a recommendation from lonely planet (usually pretty good) we went to this little tapas bar for an evening bite. It's down near the old city gate (look out for signs) and when we finally stumbled upon it it was empty. At around 10 it came to life with all the locals chatting, and ordering what seemed to be the speciality - quails egg, jamon and anchovies on toast (they sell these to go via a seperate window also!).
Great proper tapas in a very rustic old bar. Portions tend to be on the big side so don't order too much especially the cheese and ham board (jamon y queso). Gambas in chili oil are particularly good too. I'd recommend coming in before 10 and the locals as its very small and not many seats either. Also not all tapas are available which I guess is a good sign. But lovely food and very Spanish local feel.
