This is a small bar/restaurant which is hidden up one of the side streets near the promenade - if you don't like confined spaces, this may not be the best place for you. The owners were very friendly and clearly have several loyal/repeat customers.
We had a Sunday lunch which was a bit of a mixed bag - the Yorkshire pudding was great and the roast potatos were clearly home-made (though we suspected they had been made earlier in the day and kept warm as they were a bit hard). The roast beef was disappointing as it was clearly the type of thin slices that you would buy in the cooked meats section in a supermaket, rather than slices from a joint of meat. As it is only 9.99 per person it wasn't the end of the world but probably wouldn't choose to have a Sunday lunch there again - instead we would probably go to Bar Fantasia on the main promenade.
