I am writing this review having seen the comments below, really in defense of the restaurant. I have eaten many, many time at Jacinto for over 10 years and the place is a gem, but certainly not the least expensive fish and seafood restaurant around. This is for two reasons, the produce is always first class and usually wild rather than farmed. I have been in the restaurant when the fish display counter was almost bare, why?, the produce available that day was not up to the mark. Proper big Tiger (or Quarteira Prawns) are being fished-out and are now very, very expensive (if not frozen and flown in). For Dinner eat Monkfish Cataplana, priced for two but will feed four, or Seafood Rice. During the week at lunch there will also be at least two dishes of the day on offer, but you have to ask. Share one between two or order a half portion as the locals do.
