“Lovely friendly hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2012

After reading some less than complementary reviews about this hotel,i thought i had better get my views across. It was excellent, food fantastic, lots of variety and plenty to choose from. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful, always cheerful. The rooms are small,as all Italian hotel rooms are,but who wants to sit in a room, when you have Venice and a beautiful beach beside you??The hotel is kept spotlessly clean, could not fault it.Looking forward to booking again next year..........Again many many thanks to ALL the staff,

Just returned from this hotel. Was apprehensive after reading some reviews. It was excellent, lovely food, great selection at dinner and always very hot. The staff were kind and friendly and wouldn't have got better service in a five star hotel. Mentioned our air con was not that cold and the manager immediately came to the room and then sent an engineer the next morning. He offered to change our room also, but we declined as we only had a few more days to go and I expect it wasn't working at its best as it was so terribly hot in jesolo. The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. No complaints, loved it and would return. Also so many people we met had been there year after year. Thank you again to all the staff at the hotel for being so efficient and making us so welcome.

Room Tip: Our room was slightly on the small side, but other rooms were much larger. It was a late cheap dea...

We chose this hotel as a base for exploring Venice and the surrounding area. On arrival we waited to be allocated our room and stood behind a couple who had stayed here before, they did not want the room they were allocated so the girl at reception crossed out their name and swapped their room for ours, which we found a little irritating.
Our room (the one we ended up with) was average, slightly old fashioned, yet clean. There were a lot of ants on the balcony which quite often marched through the room. The food in the Hotel was ok, the breakfast selection was actually pretty good. The evening meals however were like a school canteen with a mismatch of food where latecomers were left with plenty of food that no-one else wanted. Anything that looked good was gone in 60 seconds.
I went with my wife in mid May, just before the season gets into swing, it is pretty easy to get a 24hr travel ticket from and tabaccaio shop with which you can catch any bus (approx 35mins) and boat to get to Venice and the Islands. We were told that we would experience hours of queuing but maybe due to the time of year didn't queue any where. From the bus station (about 15-20 mins walk away) you can get a bus to Treviso which is a really nice town.

Room Tip: Get off the coach first and complain if you have been allocated a room you didnt want. It worked for...

We stayed in this hotel from the 15-22nd June 2012 and what a week it was. There was a heat wave 106F.... air con was brilliant in the room. Room was small but always clean, fresh towels everyday. There was a variety of food to choose from so that was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. This hotel is facing the beach so try and get a room on the top floor, room 507 has been recommended from other holiday makers. This was my first trip to Italy so did not realise there would be no kettle in the room, so I would take a travel kettle to Italy next time. Mattresses rather hard, which was a problem for my friend but not me. If you stay here book a trip to Venice, that was an unforgettable trip. The trip cost me 51 euros with Thomsons, if you make your own way there it will only cost 14 euros return.... but you do get a guided tour with Thomsons. There is a supermarket where you can buy 12 litres of water for 1 euro 20. Turn right on leaving hotel, then left, straight down over 2 streets until you come to main road where bus stops are, turn left and it is on the right hand side. Excellent wine for 1 euro. We paid 20 euros for a bottle of Preseco in the hotel, it is only 5 euros from this supermarket. Free bike hire and free sunbeds to use on this private beach. Remember to bring a towel for pool and beach as this is not supplied by hotel. I had a massage on the beach and in the hotel grounds which were excellent. But these masseuse do tend to keep returning asking you to have another one. Our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the road... but what a sun trap on the balcony late afternoon and evening. This hotel is dated but it is clean, but I will be returning. Good hotel and location. 3 stars.

Room Tip: Book a room over looking the sea for outstanding views. Top floor (room 507) above the tree tops. 5t...

Just returned from a week at this hotel and could not fault it. The staff were excellent, The rooms were kept spotlessly clean and although the rooms were a little on the small size everything needed was there. (air conditioning, safe in the room and a fridge was all included in the price) The location was perfect right on the beach. The only thing that was a bit negative is that im disabled and i found the steps a little hard going but for a fit person they would be no problem. The food was excellent and plenty to choose from. Even the fussiest of people could find plenty to eat.

I would recomend this hotel and we will most probably be visiting again next year.

Room Tip: we had a room at the front of the hotel which was noisy early evening but everything went quiet at m...

After reading reviews on here (after booking) we were a little worried, particularly about the food and restaurant. We needn't have worried.
The food was very good and whilst it wasn't replenished it never ran out. The hotel was only about 1/2 full so a full hotel may have an effect. on this. Yes, sometimes you have to queue - not to get in the restaurant but for the buffet - but no more so than at a lot of all-inclusive holiday buffets I have been to. The food was great - the pasta particularly so. If you don't like pasta don't worry - there are meats, salads and vegetables. The veg is overcooked and repetitive but it's fine.
The staff were friendly although English is very much a second language - our waiter spoke none - but was a lovely man and was excellent at his job. When I say waiter - its buffet food - but plates are cleared quickly and fresh cutlery provided. You get a set table for your stay and you can buy wine - 14 -16 euros buys a nice Chianti - and the bottle will be on your table the next night if you don't finish it - and served to you.
The room was small - I think they all are in Jesolo - but it had a fridge - so beers at 1.50 - 2 euros a bottle (600ml) from the local supermarket and a sunny balcony before you go out is nice.
The pool area is small but we always got a bed - but it is unmanned - we had to get our own cushions for sunbeds at times. The pool water is freezing.
The beach is lovely with free sunbeds and shades.
Shops are not expensive at all - something else that worried us about Italy - but it is no dearer than Spain.
Would I go back? Apart from the fact that we don't go anywhere twice - yes - I would certainly say this hotel is worth considering. Good location, private beach, good food.
Oh, nearly forgot - free bike hire as well.

Room Tip: The rear of the hotel is beach view - but in the shade in the evening. Partil sea view is probably w...

I stayed 7 days (late May early June 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent and the hotel good however the hotel's staff are the jewel in their crown. Very attentive and courteous whilst being unobtrusive and ever present.

Room Tip: Rooms on either side or overlooking the beach are preferable. Rooms facing the road tend to be noisy...
