“Typical Tuscan fare”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

We enjoyed typical Tuscan fare here. Communication was a bit tough in my English and very limited Italian, but the service was friendly and efficient. We had one vegetarian option (the vegetarian option is a couple pasta dishes and some side dishes for the secondi) and one wild boar pasta followed by steak with truffles. The prices were fair and the truffles were generously applied to all dishes. Please note that the restaurant is in one building among a few at the end of a very long gravel road which is at the end of a very long winding road. This is really out of the way and the location, although rustic and enchanting, makes this a non-starter for most folks. We would recommend if you are wanting classic Tuscan cuisine and are feeling the urge to drive a while. We actually enjoyed the drive, but were a bit nervous that we were lost just before we arrived at our destination.

“Looks like out of a movie”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

It was simply the most beautiful setting for lunch! Food was great! Looks like driving in to the forest for lunch but it was magical. Highly recommend. We sat outside. It looked like a scene from a movie.

“Amazing Flavours of Tuscany”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

Tucked away down a small dirt road (but well worth the drive) this is a lovely restaurant in a stunning location. The antipasto platter was amazing - a wonderful selection of local produce. The osso buco was the best I have ever tasted! Good value as well.

“Worth the drive!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

Pictures don't do it justice! Very picturesque and more rustic elegant yet very welcoming atmosphere. You overlook the vineyards, the stars at night are amazing. Food was very good, reasonably priced, and the local wine is a must!

“A place... 'one of a kind'!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

A trully unique restaurant in.... the middle of nowhere!!!! it is hard to find, the road is not good but all these things worth for everyone to try them because the final result is excellent! the view of a piece of Tuscany forest-valley is breathless, the food is tasty, the wines (especially the local 'rosato') are in a top level, the place is romantic, the prices are quiet logical and the staff is fast and kind. what else can anyone ask for a diferent lunch or dinner?!....
