“Great tuscan experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

We stayed here in June 2013 and had 5 nights here. Elena and other staff provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome, The scenery around the villa is just beautiful and enjoyed sitting in the garden. We were fortunate to get a cooking lesson and had a wonderful time cooking and drinking the wine. Accomodation was lovely and the price very reasonable.

My friend and i were touring around Tuscany and chose to stay on this Winery in the Chianti region. It has the added bonus of a pool a welcome relief from the heat.
We enjoyed a wine tasting with Elena who was really helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to provide some lunch and we ended up having another helping later.
The owner brought us a large glass to try of his red whilst we were eating outside and their Prosecco is really excellent.
Lovely big quiet and clean rooms
My only regret is that we could only stay one night. I would definitely stay here again

We happened upon this little place on our way to try and find a wine tour in Chianti, saw their sign and went in. The atmosphere was pure Toscana. We chose to take the tour as it was private and we could be accomodated immediately. Elena was a great tour guide with tons of information to offer and great patience with our 10 year old son who had lots of questions. The tour was followed but a wine tasting and some small snacks, again Elena was great help. We unfortunately did not stay at the B&B but had a chance to look around and the place was simply charming and lovely! We were pretty much in agreement that we would definately stay here if and when we were in the Chianti area again. In places like this the charm is only supplemented to by the fantastic service. Thanks Elena for a great afternoon.

My wife and I stayed here in 2011 on our first trip to Tuscany. It was incredibly charming! We were in the ground floor room which was HUGE. It was so quiet and peaceful at night, we slept so soundly. The wine is delicious!! Absolutely fell in love with the house red and we returned in 2013 and had to stop by, say hello and have some shipped home.
The food is your rustic tuscan cuisine, simple but some of the best we had. Breakfast was delicious and Eleana waited on us to no end. The woman was a bundle of energy.
Greve in Chianti is mere minutes away and is this idyllic tuscan town that just made us fall in love with this region. We drove in several times a day just to get an espresso or cappucchino from this one cafe. Coop is the local supermarket there and you can stock up on groceries to make a picnic lunch. Phenominal jumping off point to travel the tuscan countryside!!!!

Room Tip: The bottom floor room is massive!!!

My husband and I spent 4 nights here with another couple in May, 2013. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. The grounds were exceptional with outdoor seating areas and a swing. I did not make it to the pool but my friend did and she enjoyed her nap in the Italian sunshine. The thing that makes this an exceptional place to stay were the people. The ladies who served breakfast in the morning were always there with a smile and the ladies who ran the tasting room were informative. The owner was very nice and we enjoyed our interaction with him. All in all this is a fabulous place to visit and rest on site or go out and about to explore.

Its been awhile since we made our trip but after reminiscing the other night we decided to write a review. We arrived in Sept 2011 after a few days in Florence. It was the perfect setting for a nice romantic time for the wife and I. The wine was amazing and the hospitality was superb. We decided to stay for dinner and ended up having a few bottles of the Chianti with an aussie couple. I highly recommend the estate if you want a quiet relaxing time in the Chianti region.

The location of the villa and its closeby surrounds are wonderful. However, we were treated with a firm degree of off handed ness and didn't feel particularly welcolmed. The saving grace were the rooms and the employee who obviously was the front person for the place. The owners, who didn't speak English were far more interested in their own pursuits and nearly everything was left to this particular person.
We certainly do not have any issue with non-English speaking Italians (after all we are visiting their country), we just felt that we could have been better off somewhere else.
The breakfasts were satisfactory but one wouldn't say that they were memorable.
Obviously, having a car, enabled us in the two days we were at Corte di Ville to visit local places of interest. The local area is just beautiful.
However, other than the person mentioned, who took several other guests on a wine tour and provided us with a wine tasting session, we never encountered or spoke to anyone else during our two night stay. Strange but true!!!!
