“Real Gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

I stayed this wonderful B&B from July 2 for 4 nights. It was rather far from the downtown Greve-in-Chianti, but absolutely perfect Agriturismo. Lovely hostess Cecilia. Environmentally well-controlled swimming pool. Great scenery. Delicious breakfast. I also never forget the wonderful dinner on first day of our stay Cecilia prepared for us, because a restaurant she reserved for us was not open that day. I dream to stay here again later for at least one month to fully enjot real Chianti. Thanks, Cecilia.

Words cannot describe this place, you have to try it. We stayed 3 nights and it was an excellent place to relax after visiting Rome, Pisa and Florence. Nice view, clean room, very rich breakfast, very quiet, friendly customer service... 10 out of 10.

Never has a place felt so perfect, exposed every sense to a new fulfilment and changed your understanding of a way of life you only ever dreamt of experiencing. Not only is this the most beautiful of settings but Cecilia, her family, her neighbours are the perfect accompaniments. From my first e-mail enquiry Cecilia was prompt in her response, pleasant, patient and crucially incredibly helpful with some beautiful photos and useful hints and tips (remember to print them out as they help greatly when finding local restaurants and attractions!). I even phoned Cecilia in advance to chat through my plans for my girlfriend and my trip and she was so kind and honest and approachable, a rarity when dealing with so many places.
Her directions from Pisa airport were accompanied by a hand drawn map which was absolutely spot on and was a confident reference point as you make your way up the long dirt track, through the vine fields and all against the back drop of the most stunning scenery.
The accommodation itself was the best i have stayed in, we arrived to be met by Cecilia, her grand daughter and two pet dogs and shown to our beautiful converted accommodation with a hand written sign welcoming us both. The little touches are so reflective of the care and consideration Cecilia takes in everything she does! We had fresh linen, towels, a perfectly comfortable bed, even separate towels for use at the infinity pool.
I thoroughly recommend taking the breakfast option although there is the option to use the fully fitted kitchen in your room or in the pantry/laundry room. Breakfast is more than worth the extra money, three courses of fresh fruit, juice, aromatic coffee, eggs (as you wish them made), meats, cheeses, and then a view across the pool, the surrounding farmland and a visit from Rocky the dog!
You are in the perfect location to visit the tourist and non-tourist attractions, in three days we visited Pisa, Florence, Sienna, Arezzo, and ate out locally at montefioralle (La Castellina) and Greve. PLEASE when you visit ask Cecilia to arrange for you to eat at Lorenzo's farmhouse...it is quite simply the Tuscan culinary experience to have and you will never have service like it, i wont spoil the surprises but you must visit!!
And if you chose to stay, then amuse yourself with table tennis, some pitch and putt, relaxing draughts, reading, or swimming and overlooking the hills. This really is a place for anyone and everyone!
I could write for hours but i could never come close to expressing the joy this place contains, thank you Cecilia and we truly hope to see you again soon!

This is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the breath-taking scenery, and take amazing short day trips just south of Florence! The farmhouse where we stayed was just perfect and so cute. Although we didn't pay extra for breakfasts, we had fun picking up fruit, croissants, meats , etc the night before in Greve and enjoying our morning meal on the private terrace with a spectacular view. Few locations are so wonderful that I have to return, but this is certainly one of them for the experience and value

Cecilia, rocky & Napoleon welcome you to a little bit of heaven!! We were lucky enough to get a cancellation for our 2 night stay!! It is a little bit out of town & up a rough road but well worth it!! The views from our lovely terrace & the wonderful garden were spectacular!! Lots of nice little touches made our stay very personal! The breakfast was by far the best of our whole holiday!! Not to be missed!! Try the local wine & Cecilia's olive oil too, just wish we could have carried more home ! Also can recommend dinner at next door farm, Loretta & Alfredo will make you feel really special!!

Room Tip: We had the upstairs room, although you have to go downstairs once inside!! It has a great bathroom...

Cecilia's lovely property is probably one of if not the best I've ever stayed in. Cecilia is the most perfect host- she made us the best breakfast we had on the terrace (our own terrace looking over the beautiful hills), We had our own little house - cutest thing in the world, with its own stove and everything - everything was spotless, clean, artistic and beautiful with so much heart and love put into it. We loved the property's pool and lounging areas- everyewhere you sit you're surrounded by fresh air and gorgeous view and you're close to everything but still away from any noise- it's the most wonderful place.
Also we loved Rocky the dog, and also Napoleone (although he wasn't out too much!) Cecilia had her own olive oil and wine that we had and we bought some for our friends. Also she gave us great tips for the restos and everything around- it was spot on. At night, the place is magical! There are fireflies everywhere- it feels like you're in a fairy tale. I can't really say anything else, if you are going to the countryside, make sure you book this place (if you can, as there are only 2 rooms) and relax and enjoy your stay!

Cecilia has a very lovely, quiet B&B! We spent 5 nights here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of Podere Torre. Greve is a good place to visit. We stayed here as a base from which to go to other cities and villages. Every evening when we returned it was good to know we could relax and enjoy the town square and return to our rooms. Spring time at the B&B was magical! Flowers in bloom as well as watching the vines grow! We will return to this amazing place
