“Warm and friendly.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2012

We arrived on a cold, misty evening. Having met a friendly parking attendant - who advised me about parking and helped me buy a voucher car for a ticket from a nearby shop - we met the delightfully friendly Daniela at her lovely B&B. Alberobello definately made us welcome!

We stayed in the double room with the stairs up to the bathroom. On a cold evening the underfloor heating was a delight! Very clean and comfortable with a nice, fresh breakfast - what more could you want.

Located in the centre of Alberobello this Trulli provided an excellent experience to stay within the World Heritage site. There are two bedrooms and a suite which all connect to a central lounge and dining area where uniquely breakfast is served in the Trulli. There are also outside terraces, a garden area and sun loungers. The hostess Daniela was lovely, her attention to detail, her friendly manner and very good english ensured a most pleasurable stay.

This is the most delightful place. It is right in the centre of one of the 'trulli' areas (there are two areas and they are very close together), and you are literally sitting amongst the wonderful conical roofs as you have breakfast. So it is in a perfect position.
For a B&B, the bathroom is as good as some 5 star hotels, and the breakfast too.
The property has been beautifully refurbished and on our tour of Puglia, this B&B was by far the most upmarket, both in terms of fittings and style.
Daniela, the owner, is extremely helpful and also a lovely person.
Our stay in Alberobello was definitely a high point and this was largely due to where we were staying. I would highly recommend.

I read the reviews for this B&B and they were very good and I can assure anyone interested in the B&B that these great reviews were spot on. The B&B was ideally situated right where you want to be in the heart of all the Trulli and next to the town square at an affordable price. The best part for me was how great the Trulli itself was. The room had a great ambiance and feel to it, very cozy, was very well decorated and the bathroom was excellent. Fantastic view from the B&B garden. Another great piece of the experience was the owner Daniela. She was an excellent host and takes great care of her guests. She is engaging and willing to try and give you the best stay possible. She was always available and very responsive. Daniela also showed us one of the other rooms which was more for 3 or 4 people (a family) and was a two level trulli. Very cool. The stay at Pietradimora really enhanced the overall experience in Alberobello!

From the first contact with Daniela, we knew our stay at Pietradimora would be great. She was kind and thoughtful, willing to address my long list of food allergies (and providing a yummy breakfast), and helpful in suggesting restaurants and day trips. The B&B is just lovely. It's well designed, exceptionally clean, and very quiet. It's a treat to be able to sit outside and look out on the local Trulli. We stayed in the largest room and enjoyed having a sitting area and tub. During our trip, we stayed in 5 B&Bs and our experience here with Daniela was truly the best!

You get a friendly welcome. It's right in the heart of the Trulli district but surprisingly quiet.
Our bedroom was a trulli with just enough facilities to be good. The bathroom was spacious and well fitted. Although there was no see through window, light came through the opaque glass and it gave privacy.
Although you are on the street and during the day it is quite busy, at night it was quiet, even when cars were allowed back in so we got good nights' sleep.
Breakfast was good, served on the terrace with trulli roofs all round. Plentiful fruit, pastries, juice, cereals, etc.
Roof has sunbeds and great views of trulli townscape.
