“Okay but a bit disappointing for the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2012

nice new hotel, big rooms and lots of space. All modern and clean.
The pool area is also great and very relaxing.

Our safe didnt work which was annoying and there is no wifi in the hotel despite it being modern.

Also beware that it is located up in the hills in Levanto and is a decent walk down to the town and the beach. The website doesn't mention it but you can call the hotel and they will pick u up in a shuttle from the station. Make sure you do this otherwise it's a long walk on the road up the hill.

Nice spot but disappointing for 250 euros a night. Needs to be a slicker experience to earn its 4 stars.

Our room was large and cheerful, with a great view down the mountain to Levanto. The hotel decor itself was gracious and tasteful with original art and oriental carpets. Walking to and from the train station was easy and fun, on a path around local gardens and yards. We had exceptional meals in the hotel restaurant with the most attentive service; they always remembered lemon slices with water, and ice for my husband. If you want something light at night, the antipasti buffet had lots of choices, including local anchovy dishes, salads, and fresh vegetables prepared in unusual ways. It was an easy place to stay healthy without missing out on wonderful Italian food. Best of all was the friendly, intelligent, informative service by everyone at the receptionist desk. We were helped with everything, including getting train tickets to the Almalfi coast, and organizing a business conference call for my husband. (Special thanks to Germana.)

Room Tip: Make sure to use the wellness center! After hiking the cinque terre, the steam room and sauna was h...

We had a good Easter week-end. Easy to walk down to the train station and the center without the use of our car.
Breakfast very good with a wide choice of 'celiac products, soy and rice milk'.
The rooms are wide and clean, a balcony.
The little spa was great considering all the walking of the day so it was really 'cozy' going into the sauna and sipping a nice cup of herbal tea. (a wide selection).

The proprietors of this hotel were so warm and welcoming. The room was very large, and comfortable. We were celebrating our anniversary as well as Christmas, and they sent us a lovely bottle of Prosseco on arrival. The breakfast spread was incredible, and the staff were all so accomodating and polite. We were served two extremely impressive dinners in our room, which came incrementally with precise timing. The menu varied nightly, which was a treat. The brief walk into town was lovely, and taxis were always readily available, but not really needed. It was close enough to the train station to easily walk. The hotel offers the free use of the spa, and impressive "emotional shower", which was my husbands favorite! We would definitely return.

Room Tip: Our room was very large, with a wonderful terrace surrounded by the lush mountain terrain. The enti...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in May, 2011 while we explored the Cinque Terre - an area that we found to be amazing. The hotel location was great and it was an easy walk down to the train station each day. The rooms were just ok - not a lot of character. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room on a high floor

We selected this hotel based on reviews, and were pleased with the results. It is located on the side of a hill above the train station in Levanto which is about 8-10 minute walk and allows for the exploration of Cinque Terre area. Ample free parking is available and they will drive you into (and pick you up) from Levanto and train station. The hotel opened in 2009, the rooms are large with tiled floors, large bathroom, free internet (wired in room, WiFi in lobby), the views are magnificent, the food is excellent and breakfast choices are great, but the best part is the attention provided by ALL the staff members. They are very helpful and ready to assist in several languages. We extended our stay and plan to return next year and use the hotel as a base for exploring more of the region.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a balcony or patio that provide a place to relax and enjoy views of the mountain vil...
